Yippee! It worked!!

At a scrapbooking retreat I spotted Silhouette Flocked HTV and just had to buy it to make my littlest an Elmo shirt. He's a pretty big deal in our house.
I was more than a little nervous to use this in my E2 since it's SO thick, but it worked perfectly!

Elmo is cut at 6". I used the regular E2 settings for the vinly kiss cut for Elmo's orange nose. It's regular HTV. Blade 4, Speed 3, Pressure 3, Cut 1
For the red and white I bumped the Pressure to 4 and the blade to 6. I also taped down all sides of the HTV to keep it still and in place while cutting.
I had my iron on it's highest setting and used parchment paper as a cover to iron. Thanks to AllisonF for that tip!

Now my littlest has a soft, fuzzy Elmo shirt to add to her collection!Smile

Thank you for posting this! I appreciate all the cutting details because I always seem to be messing that up.

I would love to make a t-shirt like this for my nephew. He is crazy for Elmo, too! I've been playing around with cutting duct tape sheets but never vinyl or fabric. I want to give it a try!BigGrin
