which cart did you use? I'm trying to decide if I want a halloween cart and which one but I love the cuts you used. Used the Pumpkin Carving to make all the cuts. Thanks for the kind words!

Grannykate, I don't think they allow signatures on the new MB unless they changed the rules, that is what I read on another thread.

I need to switch over laundry and get something for meals thawing....and get back to cardmaking! It is coming right along......and I do so enjoy every minute I am in there. :) Also beginning to make my wish list for Christmas.........

WTG Amanda. I'll change your numbers in the next update later this evening.
Kathy, I was wondering when you were going to make it to the new MB. Good to see you and your new avatar is cute. Got your number written down too.

My Chrismas cards for this is snowballing. First I decide I'll do several of the same card, then decide to do one thing then don't like how the parts go together so have double what I planned on, then find some cut from 2 years ago for my Chrismas card so have more, then want to try another cut, etc......so now I have 90 more cards!

BugABoo13 wrote:Hello! I am new to Cards for Soldiers. Mary Director has been helping me out. I have 13 cards that I would like to donate, but I am not sure who my shipper is. I am in the Mountain time zone - is that what you mean when you say Mountain, West, East, etc.? If you could please let me know who the shipper is for my category I would greatly appreciate it. I am in the military and was deployed a few years ago. We received a huge box full of Easter cards and I have to tell you all - thank you!! What you are doing is a wonderful thing. We appreciated those cards so much! Thanks in advance for your help. Yea!!!! I am so glad you posted. Thank you so much for your service too. I'm doing cards for one of my Stampin' Up! Team Member's unit that is in Iraq, so won't be able to contribute this time around. I'm busy making cards for them now and hope to have a full box in the mail next month to them. Definitely want to keep in contact with all of you here too, and I will be contributing again soon. Here's a card I made the other day, it is actually made with faux metal contact paper (Brand Name: Duck). I used the Big Shot to die cut the Top Note and then embossed it. There is more about it on my blog.

Okay--here we go. This is the first time I've tried posting here but you all seem to have it figured out if I get lost somewhere.
First of all, I've got some packages to acknowledge. Some of you have received PMs so this may be a repeat:
Pearl, 6gt8kdz Janice W Friend 958 Larelyn mommaNJ victoria B doryM NancyF Romonasgma
What wonderful Fall cards you have all made. the soldiers should be delighted.
Also, wanted to share a note I received from one of our units:
Thank you so much for the greeting card selections. I can only imagine how many hours went into making these. Please know that I appreciate your generosity. I have already notified the others in my unit to "come and get them." There isn't much of a selection at our base exchange. I will send you an email when the supplies start to run low. However, I am here with a bunch of men, so I'm not sure when. Jen.

I am no longer on the road at this time. Some friends of ours are agents at a trucking company and I am currently working for them again. I worked here 10 years ago and I can honestly say things haven't changed a bit...lol
This has worked out good for me, I am able to help care for G'pa. He has been up and down over the past couple of months so I am very Thankful for the time that I have with him. My boss has allowed me to change my hours so that G'pa has someone with him most of the day.

I'm glad I found this thread! With the new board up and running I was afraid there was no way to keep up with the CFS.
My box of cards is almost full and ready to ship but I'll continue making them until I can't get any more in the box.
