I was trying one from my computer. Yes I'm liking the new MB, we'll learn more everyday. Oh, I figured out why my ATTACH route wouldn't work, the picture was too big. I resized and it worked. Edited by user Saturday, September 18, 2010 6:10:11 PM(UTC)

Phyllis wrote:twiggoddess, so your number should be 30 instead of 15. I only added 15 to the tally, guess I missed something.
I use Photobucket to add pics and click on the mountain above the reply post and copy and paste the link. I wasn't sure it would work but I'm so glad it did. I haven't tried the attach method. yes, my total is 30. I originally said 15 because I wasn't sure I could get more done but I went right to work on them today and managed to get them all done so decided to do another 15 for christmas. sorry for the confusion! I will be mailing the 15 thanksgiving cards out the first of the week.

I love that you all are figuring out how to get pictures posted.
I received cards today from Kris and Donna G. Oh and a case of sipping boxes from the USPS. I am going to start filling them up.

I would like to help. I will start with 15 and I live in the central time zone. Is there anything else I need to know or to do (besides make the cards)?

This stuff is new to me too, but I'll do 15 for Thanksgiving. I live in the Easter Time Zone. I figure that I should really get involved in this since my boyfriend is leaving for Basic Training for the Marines on Oct 8. I'm really worried about him enlisting, but figure doing something to help our soldiers will help me be less nervous.

Hello! I am new to Cards for Soldiers. Mary Director has been helping me out. I have 13 cards that I would like to donate, but I am not sure who my shipper is. I am in the Mountain time zone - is that what you mean when you say Mountain, West, East, etc.? If you could please let me know who the shipper is for my category I would greatly appreciate it. I am in the military and was deployed a few years ago. We received a huge box full of Easter cards and I have to tell you all - thank you!! What you are doing is a wonderful thing. We appreciated those cards so much! Thanks in advance for your help.

I have all the cards stamped and 6 colored. I hope to have them all complete by next Sunday. I also found one that I may use for ThanksGiving cards. I always have issues with posting my pictures, but with alot of work I get them posted. Jan

Here is a picture of the cards I am sending. These were actually our Christmas cards from last year. I cut the card front off and reattached to a white card base with no greeting on the inside. I also removed the glitter ribbon and attached regular ribbon - didn't want to take any chances. Just realized the lighting's not that great. The purple embellishment says "have a holly jolly Christmas". Edited by user Sunday, September 19, 2010 8:04:37 PM(UTC)

Last night my son came to me and needed to Thank You Cards for a soldier for one his classes. He wanted one from the Seniors and then one from the Underclassmen. I was glad I read the Faq's page this helped with how I made the two cards. I am mad at myself however, I did not take pictures of the cards. I always take pictures of my cards who knows what I was thining, it was late. There were simple and I know that I can remake the same ones. I just thought that it was cool that a high school clasees was taking the time to write to a soldier and thank him/her for all that they are doing to keep up safe.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun making the Halloween cards this year. I wish that I would have been able to get more done but seems like my timing is always off. I hope to get some Christmas cards made soon. I hate that we have to start over on our post count. I didn't have that many to begin with and now to have to start over....it will take me another 2yrs to reach 200 posts.

Utona, I hated losing all those posts too, we worked hard for those didn't we? I had 5775, which is not a lot compared to some but don't know if I'll ever reach that number again. LOL. I do love the speed.
