I loved it...made my first cuts...great, super easy to set up, THEN Tried to do the HSN downloads, Cricut Basic Shapes Fonts went fine, tried to do the 3d Ornaments and it won't take it, keeps saying it must be a quantity of one. Waited on the phone for CS but just can't spend all evening trying to get someone to help. So....I like the machine but the digi downloads aren't going so well  Patty

Took me awhile to figure out hsn downloads and the ornament. Just make sure there in you cart.

Mine is on it's way to East Petersburg and then the truck to come to my house. Too bad I can't bribe the driver to hit me first! LOL!
I'll be in stalking mode by the window around 1:30.
When I got my expression I met him at the truck door! I think I scared him. When I looked at the delivery he had codes on there where the signature goes...I think it meant, crazy lady met me at the truck and scared the bejesus out of me!
I think he's used to me now....I need to sharpen my skills.

I had to do live chat to help with my 3D ornaments, my shopping cart wouldn't clear no matter what we tried!! Finally she gave me another code and we got it to work!! Love the mini... it may just become my favorite. I do wish they had added the wifi to it though.

They need to come up with a new plan for wifi. To just do it with the E2 is crazy! I'd like to have it on my Imagine and since the mini is computer based only, it should have that option. My machines need to live across the room from each other. I don't need 20' USB cables running all over!

Mine came today! Can't get the 3d ornaments, so I'll try again tomorrow. Did you see all the digital downloads? I think this will be a good thing, since I've run out of room for more carts. I did do some test cuts, using heavy cardstock and it cut very well. Still testing for the perfect settings.

I had a problem with my 3d ornaments, if you don't or can't wait on hold for CS, use live chat, Lisa was able to help me get the 3d, you will have to give them the serial number to mini and the old code that isn't working for 3d cart. I too am having trouble with the 3D images code! UGH! SO I guess I'm contacting them tomorrow! I haven't had a chance to play with it yet but I LOVE the size!! So compact compared to my other machines! Going to cut with it tomorrow! Can't wait!

I think that it cuts very well . The Cricut Craft Room is slow and I kept getting service errors though. I'd rather use my Gypsy with it . The lever for the pressure threw me off , but i didn't look at the diagram before I started. I do like the size and as i said, it cuts very well. I had no issues redeeming the free content codes. Mines on the truck to be delivered, they usually don't deliver to my house though until around 2 - 3 pm. Yuck! Can't wait to use it. I really hope that I don't have a problem with downloading the ornaments or buying the bows, because that's what I'm so excited about.
Can't wait to see what everyone makes and so glad that there is a forum for it now, been waiting.

Mine arrived today and oh, what fun!!! I had trouble entering the code for the 3D Ornaments, but after I tried again using dashes and all caps it was fine. I have also cut my first ornament from the craftroom. Anxious to see what kind of miles my new Mini is going to log - much easier to tote with me than my Expression. Enjoy!!!

I got mine all unpacked, it is so cute. Right now it is doing some kind of cricut sync update on my computer. Has anyone else had to do that? It is taking a long time. I am also on hold regarding the ornaments code, it is not letting me enter it in my cart. It keeps saying I need a quantity of 1.

So far so good. I am not fond of the plastic blade housing and will replace it ASAP. Does anyone else have an issue with the I guess slapping of th housing on the paper, or is it me.?

Mine arrived today! I was able to redeem the coupon for the 3D Ornaments, but not for the Font & Basic Shapes - I'm getting the "Item #7000199 must only have a quantity of one" on that one! Also can't register the machine, since the Cricut Mini doesn't appear on that list  But I was able to connect to the Craft Room and make a sample kit, so at least I know that it works!! (and I've got 2 cartridges here and 3 more on the way, so hoping to play more this weekend!!) -Ron

I got mine today. I've wasted the entire evening trying to get it working. Apparently it didn't install correctly or something (driver problem), keeps having me do a firmware update, which I do. I've restarted the computer, powered off and on the Cricut. I've emailed support, so hopefully they will have a solution for me. If not, this puppy is going back! How disappointing. Just finished a live chat with Jordan and got a new code to redeem the Font and Basic Shapes - it worked and all is well!
I was going to use my $25 code to buy the Bloom Digital cartridge, but it seems that you can only use the $25 to buy from the "Cricut Craft Room Exclusives" category - and there's nothing in there that I really want right now, so I guess I'll just hold on to that $25 and wait for more content to show up. But I'm quite disappointed that I can't use the code to buy anything I want in the store - I was not aware of the fact that there would be this restriction on the purchase. Not really happy about this, but hopefully they'll add more content to the 'exclusive' area so that I can eventually buy something.
In the mean time, I've got 4 cartridges (3D Ornaments, Font and Basic Shapes, Art Nouveau, & Straight from the Nest) to play with now, plus 3 more 'on the way' (Designer Calendar is en route, and I have rain checks from A.C.Moore for Fancy Frames and Elegant Edges).
Looking forward to playing over the next few days!

Wow Ron, thanks for that info on the 25.00 credit! I didn't realize it had to be craft room exclusives either...that was not my impression when watching HSN and why would it matter "what" content we used it for as long as it was digital? Oh well, it is what it is but it doesn't make sense to me!
