I had a Cricut head on the old board, I went to load one from my profile and got an error message. I guess that area is not up and running yet . I will try later on or over the weekend. I am happy to be on the new board! Love the speed but I am going to have to learn how to work this board. (Not that I could work the old board that well either  ) WELL as you can see I finally did get an avatar  but it isn't a bughead  . Hope everyone is having as much fun with the new board as I am ! Gina and Cat... I had these same questions...and a very similar post...GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!! HA HA!! Anywho...some gals on the boards helped me out. They said those that have lots of posts, etc. by their name/avatar are Cricut Circle members...and apparently Circle members have been allowed to post on the new forum for quite some time. Cricut heads/stars/ etc. will not be transferred over apparently...we all start fresh... EVERYONE starts off as zero posts when they transfer to the new board... I was a little bummed...been a member since 2007 and regularly post...but now it says I am a newbie and have only a couple posts to my name... Oh well... I DO really like the new look and format of the boards...I know some of the stuff is being "brought over" from the "old board" within the next week or two... Thanks ! I figured that it will take them a little while to get all the Bells and Whistles up and running. I was just wondering if it was just me . I read on the NMB ( New message board) that everyone was starting over here. I love the title of the thread I'm a virgin again!!LOL What a hoot!

How do I change my avatar? I mean....I put in a picture that I didn't like (it wasn't rotated)...so then I hit "clear avatar" and tried to put in a new picture and it keeps wanting to go back to the first picture that I uploaded (the wrong one). It won't clear out the original picture.

The only thing it allows is us to delete it. So for now, I am avatarless.

I found out on the circle MB that it would not accept a resized pic. It is resized on site  You might try that.

It took me a dozen tries and it finally took it. I never had an avatar on the other board. It will be fun to change it around! Good luck!

I want to see what avatars they have to choose from. But I get a message about going to the root something or other and changing the message or something like that . I am not that computer savy. oh well maybe there are things not yet up and running .

Cute pup! looks like my Muttzilla except my guy is brownish red. I just had to bring him in he was barking up a storm for no reason.

It took me logging out and logging back in 10 min later to actually see the avatar change. It was showing an older avatar and I kept trying to load the new one...finally gave up. Then I logged back in...and it was changed! Must be a delay or something.

I was a little bummed about loosing all the bug heads and things. I've been a member since the fisrt few weeks of the MB. Wow has it changed and changed over the years.

Well I think we are getting closer . I went in today to see if I could pick an avatar and I didn't get there is a serious error, I just got NOTHING!
