I was doing a search on youtube and found a video on using a laser printer and a laminator to foil. The procedure was:
Print out what you want to foil on a blk/wht laser printer (does not work with color or inkjet)
Place your transfer foil on top of what you printed (e.g.: Happy Birthday)
Put it through a laminator that uses heat
Peel off the foil. Apparently the transfer foil will adhere to the printed toner on the paper.
Does anyone know if I could use the YourStory laminator for this? Has anyone ever tried this?
Thanks

I've never tried it, but as cheap as they have had the YourStory lately, you wouldn't have a lot to lose but a whole lot to gain! Be sure you post your results if you try it!

Have to buy a laser printer first, but will post as soon as I do something, just don't know when.

It works with any laminator so long as you are using the correct type of foil. Just cover the foil with tissue paper when you put it thru the laminator to protect the roller. I do it all the time.
