You can take a image and place pop dots,(you buy them on a card) or I use a roll of foam tape from the hardware section and cut the size and amount that I need. Place it under the image and it is raised above the card. Understand? If not ask again, I try to explain it further.

I too like the Scotch Foam Tape over traditional "pop dots". It's not as thick, but you can cut it very easily to fit your project, I've even got it on to very thin flower stems I've cut out. It is also pretty easy to put a second layer of the tape on to make it pop more. Also, one roll of it lasts forever! I've not used the one from the hardware section (I think that is the heavy duty one), just the regular strength that you can get at Mike's (I've even seen it at Target in their small scrapbook section).

Ditto on the scotch foam tape roll....I did see a mega roll at OfficeMax...and I regularly receive a $10 coupon off on $30 purchase....that being said...this MEGA SIZED (sorry for the caps...it's gigantic), I believe is priced just slightly over $30....
Next coupon, I'm purchasing this...I can go through a $5 roll fairly fast! This roll looks like its 10 times the size of those?! I didn't check out the footage...but, I've always wanted one of these!!! LOL!
Oriental Trading has pop squares too...they are REALLY poppy...very thick...almost TOO thick for me on my scrapbook pages and cards that I want to send in a regular envelope.....
There are other popdots on the market too...I've tried them all! LOL!!!!!
