I am so glad I have my Gypsy - it has really expanded my creativity. My project for the FM contest would not have been possible without it's capabilities to skew and stretch!
I know DS does similar things, but I just have being tied to a computer/laptop.

I use both. I often design on the DS and then transfer to my gypsy.

You know, I had DS and hated it. I could never get it to do what I wanted. But my Gypsy on the other hand, I adore it!!! I too do not like the fact that I had to have my computer for the DS. I do have another 'similar' program to DS (don't think we are allowed to mention names) and I love it when I'm using svg files that I purchased from places. But since I got my Gyspy, I haven't used it at all. I need to remind myself to use it more.

I LOVE My Gypsy Woman and She Goes Everywhere With Me. In this past year she has been to Chicago 3 times, North Caroline, Mississippi, to the doctors office, the dentist, the hospital, work and even a ball game. She loves to travel around but has put on a little weight since I got her she has grown to almost 90 carts.... what can I say!

I never had the opportunity to use DS...I own a Mac and wasn't buying PC laptop or splitting my HD in order to run it....not risking it. That being said...when I found out how you could manipulate images I was sold...sight unseen lol!! I raced and drove over 8 hrs to the nearest store (I live in northern ontario) and picked it up....ahhh memories.......10 more days till my 1 year gypsy anniversary!

I have the DS bought it a few years back and it is still in the box LOL. When I saw how many had trouble with it when it first came out I never bothered to load it in my computer. Now with my "G" I just hug out on the MB and learned along with everyone else when we got it from HSN. Almost sent her back so glad I didn't. IT has me using my "E" more and more. And of course lets not forget buying more and more Carts now ROFL.

I agree I just love my Gypsy she has went to WA MT 2 times she loves going to my cabin in the woods she never complaines I just take her everywhere even to work great for breaks She is like my best friend I just wish she could DRIVE ONCE IN A WHILE!!!

I travel with mine as well! We camp allot and I take her with me every time! I can create play and it is so easy to take her! I LOVE it that I can play with carts I don't have yet to see if I really need that cart or not! I really didn't think I would use it so I resisted for awhile but now I find I cant be without her!

I love my gypsy too. I tried DS at a class one day and really didn't like it much.
