Can you go into CCR (with your Imagine turned on before you go into CCR) and when you get into CCR, go to the "HELP" menu at the top to see if you need to install DRIVERS for your Imagine? We had to do that for the Expression about a week ago. I didn't know we might have to do that; but, I just happened to go there one day (I was so frustrated about something I was trying to do), and there was a sub-menu telling me I needed to update my drivers, which I did, and then CCR worked for me, once again. It had been working for me, then it wouldn't, and that's when I found I needed to update the drivers.
It's so frustrating that you have to figure out every step by yourself. You would think when PC knows we need to add drivers (to the BETA TESTERS) that we would be on an email list and they would say "you all need to update your drivers"!!!!!
After I did that and went back out of CCR and went back in, it then gave me a message that I had to SYNC my Expression, which I did. It CUT after that (because I was CUTTING a month or so ago and then all of a sudden before I left for a fifteen-day vacation, we were unable to CUT (around Memorial Day) When I came back home to get back on CCR, that's when I decided to go to the HELP menu.
I am able to CUT again; however, I can't CUT two layers (from two cartridges) on one project. So, I am doing a work-around and making a new title for every image I want to work with from one cartridge (until I try two at some point after a "fix"). FRUSTRATING, to say the least!
