Here's a layout I just recently completed. I wanted to use the type of ribbon that waves back and forth but I didn't have any so I just put adhesive along the whole strip and waved it back and forth myself!  I've ever done that before but it worked out pretty well!  There are close ups here if you want to see more. The bugs are from Doodlecharms. The single bug is cut at 1". The bug border is cut at 1.5".

Adorable!!! I had to break down and get a gate to keep my LO out of the kitchen otherwise I'd end up tripping oave her.
