A friend of mine teaches middle school English and social studies, so she came over to my house to use the Cricut & make a bulletin board for her Oregon Trail unit. She texted me a picture after she got it all together and I don't think she will mind if I share the picture. The quality is not that great, but you can at least get the idea:

I think she used Paper Doll Dress-Up (people) and Create a Critter (horses) but I'm not 100% sure.

The kids have to love learning with this! So much better when it's illustrated in a fun way.

Your friend did a wonderful job on this and I'm sure the kids loved it too. I sure don't remember bulletin boards being this fun and creative when I was in school.
