With all of the fine lines on the cut outs, what glue do you use to glue the main cutout to the background? Or, do you use adhesive paper? Thanks.

On fine cuts like this cart has I like to use Scotch Quick Dry glue. You can get it at Walmart, Target or Michaels. I like it because you don't need much, it isn't runny and it does dry quick.

I like the Scotch Stick glue, too. One of the main reasons I do like it is because if you decide later you don't like what you have done (after it dries), you can actually POP it up and start over!
When I use my Scotch, though, I like to lay my piece under a heavy set of books (or, I also have an old iron I cut the cord off of), place waxed paper between the card (if I have glued inside) and/or anywhere glue might ooze out a little where I don't want it to get on my iron, the furniture underneath, or other places on the card that will stick together where I don't want it to. After it dries, there's no danger of this happening, though. I usually let it stay under weight for anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on what I'm off doing in the meantime.
The reason I like to do this is to get good adherence. If I don't do this, my glued edges tend to creep up after a while.

Sounds good in theory...in reality...not so much!
I tried it!
The first picture shows the negative space on textured cardstock and smooth cardstock
The second picture shows using the Xyron...I would suggest not using this particular adhesive...too many glue boogers!
The third picture shows the negative space on vellum
Now...I shall try to make lemonade out of lemons!
