Good morning ladies, checking in from my car as I wait for my coworker to come pick me up.

Netta-sorry for your loss. I know it must me hard. My family is still struggling after my cousin was shot a few weeks ago. The problem is the police won't give us any updates on him. Only time we hear anything is when the doctors call for permission to do surgeries.I'll be keeping your family in my prayers.

Ziggy and Char take care of yourselves. Hope all goes well with your treatment.

Cassie-you know I have yet to open that cinch that I bought a few months ago. I have mainly been using vinyl but one day I will try it out.

Ok she is here now, I'll check back in later.

I had the kids too, but they were occupied as I let DD get 10 sheets of paper and she had a hard time with so many options available. I rounded a corner and saw Cinch supplies and got excited, but, no machine or place for them. Went back to help DD and then told her I was going to Cust. Svc. The guy working that desk was the GREATEST I ever experienced. He went in the back and I all but jumped to the ceiling when I saw him round the corner with that pink and white box. it was the last one. I told DS how I excited I was and was quiet audible with my hallelujah. So, my 6 year old and I started jumping up and down in the aisle praising God. LOL!!!! Oh, the little things. I got in the car and realized it didn't ring up 40% off. So, back in the store we go. It took a lot and I had to tell him it wasn't an electronic cutting tool (which is why it was still regular price). So, I ended up paying $45. After using it that night, I could have tossed my BIA out the window!!!!

Cassie you are too funny, glad you finally scored the Cinch! After reading that you could have tossed the BIA out the window I figure its time for me to pull my Cinch out the box! I hope there's nothing wrong with it since I've had it since I came up to your crop last year! I just never seem to have enough time to play with my toys but I did get some wire from TM (thanks Island) recently along with a cutting too so I just need to open it!

What is a CINCH?

An easy-to-use tool binds books with the press of the handle and is a must-have for crafting. Perfect for home, office or school. Easy enough for the beginner, professional enough for the expert.
•Punch perfect, stylish round holes without measuring
•Projects lay flat while punching
•Punches any length
•Punch up to 20 sheets of copy paper at once

Here's a video from where I copied the text above:

Good morning to all of you, I pray things are well for each of you.

Quick question?? Someone posted awhile ago, the order of prayer. I think it was Cassie. I want to share this with my prayer group, if anyone remembers the timeframe. I think it might have been in four right after New Years, but I have searched and can't seem to find it.

Anyway, enjoy your day.

Hi everyone! I am so sorry I haven't been around. But I have been thru truly one of the worst times of my life. Only Knowing that God was holding me up did I manage to stay strong.
My dd started dating this guy in Sept. and I liked him from the day I met him. But as their relationship went alomng I noticed he was controlling and put her down quite a bit. I tried pointing things out to her without trying to seem like the protective mother, but you know kids don't listen, especially if they think they are in love. The boys hate having their hair cut.We think it is the noise of the clippers. So he said he would cut their hair and he and my dd cut it in the upstairs bathroom. After that both boys didn't want to be around him, they would cry as soon as he walked in. They previously really liked him. My dd reassured me nothing happened and we assumed it was from the clippers and being held still. Gradually boy a tolerated him, but boy b would still cry and stay in my room when he was here.
Fast forward to two and a half weeks ago. The boys are in bed upstairs and dd and boyfriend are upstairs also.Oh, she had broken up with him about three wks before this but let him talk her into giving him a chance. Anyway, they had a pizza earlier and he wants her to go downstairs and warm him some up. She said no and they argued and she finally decided ir wasn't worth arguing about and came down to get him pizza. She thought she heard boy b crying or the cat cause it was a strange cry so she hurried back upstairs. first she took him his pizza but he wasn't in the room so she put it down and went to check on boy b. She tought he felt hot so turned on the light and noticed what she thought was vomit on his sheets. Then she looked at him and he had the starting of what looked like bruises on his face. She brings him down to me and besides his face he sounds like his throat is constricting so I tell her to get him to ER. Her boyfriend didn't go with her so I assumed he was sleeping. Later I heard him walking around upstairs and then I heard him come downstairs. When I looked out my bedroom door he was at the door. He asked where dd was and again assuming he was asleep I told him she had taken boy b to ER. I asked if he knew where it was and he said yes. I thought he was going there. DD said baby a was asleep when she left so I turn on monitor so I can hear if he wakes. I hear him whimpering so I go get him. He is sitting in bed shivering. I think he's getting sick too until I pick him up and he is soaking wet. Not pee and he hasn't a sippy cup so I am totally confused. Call dd and she hasn't a clue.
It ends up I take baby a and go to ER because baby b has two skull fractures and was choked. He is transferred to a children's hosp. about 30 miles from here by ambulance and baby a has to go too but can't go with us because at that time we were also suspects. DD grandparents took him. It ends up the fractures were all he had, but he looked awful. And they think he put baby a in the tub todrown him, but maybe heard me downstairs. We'll probably never know. DD and I were cleared of course and it only left him. He still hasn't been arrested. They want to have everything in order. But it is driving us crazy waiting. He lives in another town, but still...
So baby b's bruises have healed and the fractures should heal fine in 2-3 months but he is emotionally messed up. He doesn't sleep well and has nightmares. He has to have benedryl just to get him to sleep. Boy a is fine , thank God. I have thanked God so much during this. He gave my dd the ability to hear cries fom upstairs that one can't normally hear in the kitchen. I thank him for both boys every morning when they wake me up. Now I pray my dd will heal from this. She is carrying a lot of guilt even tho everyone has told her over and over she had no idea he would do this. And why did he do it? He has a 2 yr old son. Maybe he wanted dd but not her son? He never drank here or did drugs that she knew of. I think he is just the definition of evil. I hadn't known evil until now.
I am sorry this is so long. I'm crying as I write this because I can't help it. I need to go before the boys see me. I will be back. Please keep us in your prayers. Love you all!!

Good afternoon ladies and gent,

Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. My cousin's mother was hospitalized on Friday night and released Sunday morning, they have her medicated. It is soo sad, she has not been able to make any arrangements yet.

Ellamap-MY GOD, I am so sorry to hear this about your DD and grandchildren. I am glad to hear the boys are doing better. I will keep you and family all uplifted in prayer. Don’t you worry about the guy he will reap it for sure
Tonya-I didn't realize my inbox was full, I had to clear it out..lol
Cassie-I had to laugh about your cinch story, that was a good deal. I have yet to use mines, because I was trying to learn the BIA. Can you use your BIA supplies with the cinch? I am sure you will be pain-free for your Liturgical Dance this evening and it will be amazing. I really enjoyed the one you had posted on your blog
Ziggy-so sorry to hear you wasn't feeling well, I will be praying you during your treatments
IslandV-thanks for the update on Char
Trell-love your card
Renee-congrats on the new IPad and Happy Belated Anniversary . My laptop sounds like a plane taken off lately, I have backed everything up. I am hoping it makes it through the summer.
Treva-I thought about you on Saturday when the fellas were watching the games, congrats!!
Gr8tful-to funny about TMJH (Too much junk hangover). Did you relax for the rest of the evening?
Dakota-glad PAWS is doing okay, my son was very happy UCONN made it in
Coffee-enjoy spring break, are you traveling anywhere?
Truthful-I am so sorry to hear they are still limiting info to your family, especially your aunt. Will keep your family in prayer.

I did not feel up to going into the scraproom this weekend, but I am planning to spend a little time in there today.
Have a great day,
~~Netta~~

Hey family...just checking in to say and that I haven't been wiped off the planet by a 7th grader. Sorry I have been MIA but if it's any consolation I HAVE been crafting. Hope to post something in the next day or two. Gonna try and get caught up when I get home this evening. As for what's happening here...I've gained 7 pounds in the last few weeks...I've been consuming food like I haven't eaten in months...I think I may be going through perimenopause (Aunt Flo is 10 days late and the last time this happened she arrived with a VENGEANCE!)...my short romance is OVER and I have no idea why...and my DU (mom's oldest brother) is very, very ill and from what I've been told has about six months to live, so please include my family in your prayers.

Now I must return to trying to get through the day...I will hopefully check back in later.

Ella, oh dear Ella, I am so thankful that your dgs are alright. What a nightmare, will be lifting your dd and the boys up in prayer. I am glad they have a loving grandmother to help them through this ordeal. We have a lot of praying to do for our children and grandchildren' safety. This old world is full of troubles that our children will be faced with.

Netta, I am staying home and getting ready for my daughter' s bridal shower, and spring cleaning my scrap space. How are things with you? Keeping your family lifted as well.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks for everything, for this is the will of God.

Good evening ladies. Was going to do a long post, but my IPad needs charging and won't make it thru that. Will hopefully be able to get on late tonight to update. Headed to a seamstress in a few to get my suit pants and several dresses cut down. The time has come. Enough with the safety pins.

Ellamaps: I could not leave this thread without saying how truly sorry I am for what you have been thru. Your family is in my prayers. Hopefully the boyfriend will be arrested soon and will be able to get help. I pray your dgb's will recover from this soon. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.

Good evening everyone. Glad everyone found the new post. I wanted to start it before they locked the old one. I am in my craft room with my gypsy on the table and my imagine printing! I am determined to craft something. I did make a word book last week for a birthday party so my creative juices have flowed...a little. Laugh I am sipping on a daiquiri so not sure how much crafting I will get to before I get sleepy.

Ella - Your story brings tears to my eyes. I am so glad your DGS are physically OK. As a single mother I am finding it very difficult to date because I don't wanna trust anyone around my Sunshine. I pray that your DGS can get over this menatally also.

Netta - Prayers go out to you and your family.

Mom2 - I saw that Verizon had the V1 iPad for a very good price. I was tempted but I think I may hold out for the Xoom. Congrats on your anniversary. 23 years?!?!? WOW!

Dakota - Very cute banner.

Island - I used to add up my craft spending but stopped. I think I need to start back.

MMD - I did notice the other threads. Maybe next time I will let us go on until it they lock us out.

Trell - Very pretty card

Good evening everyone.

Trell awesome card.

Ella prayers and healing for your grand babies and dd. After I read your post I had to cook dinner but lost my appetite(sp). I felt sick reading the details. This is EXACTLY why dh and I have not been out on a date since the birth of our twin girls in 2001. It's just dh and I. If you're wondering why, I do not trust anyone else around my children. If you want to talk via phone pm me. HUGS

Renee HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. I love my Ipad too. It goes room to room with me.

Karen sorry it didn't work out with your friend.

DakotaBear it's good to hear Paws is okay.

Ziggy take care of you. I miss reading your funny posts.

Cassie enjoy your new toy. I need some QT with my cinch.

Netta you're in my thoughts. Prayers for your family at this difficult time. I was in TM today and thought of you.

Coffee enjoy those walks and spring break. Good to see you.

To the craft room to put some purchases away.

Good night.

Thank God for small blessings. Ella what a tragedy but one that has a happy ending. I will pray for a total restoration for the twins. May God allow them to forget ever part of the incident.

So glad everyone is doing ok. I am going to turn in. I am drained. Love you crazy ladies. Talk to y'all tomorrow

Good Morning All,

Ellamap – My heart goes out to you and your family. That is awful what the twins had to endure. Not only them, but you and DD as well. I am sending prayers of healing and peace. I am asking God for physical and emotional restoration.

Netta – You can use the BIA wires minus the smaller ones. I think I may try to punch holes with the cinch on the smaller ones and then bind with BIA, if I don’t sell it right away. Ministry was good last with the exception that both of my contact lenses came out and I had to stop towards the end of the 2nd song and completely remove them from my hanging lids. Must be something about the air in old church buildings. I was find in the church but once I entered the sanctuary, it went downhill. I even tried to snatch one out in the middle of dancing. Now that was a sight.

Karen – Sending prayers.

Good morning, hope the day finds everyone healthy.

My friend Fran, who had the stroke on Feb.1st, is making good progress in rehabilitation and still in need of prayer for more improvement on her left side.

Finished reading Getting to Happy a couple of days ago, I bought the hardcover when it first came out, started reading it a couple of weeks ago--I should have waited for the paperback edition. As far as I am concerned, Waiting to Exhale was her best book.

Ella--All I can say is Oh My God. What a horrendous thing to experience! Praying for a total healing of all.

Ziggy--Praying the iron IV does the trick, so you can get back to being your spunky self.

Cassie--happy the Liturgical dancing went well despite lost of contacts. Seems like a lot of us have the Cinch but haven't used them or only used it very little.

PKay--I know when I added up what I had spent last May and it was in the $800 range, that was a wake up call for me.

Karen--Sorry to hear about your brief friend. Also sorry to hear about your uncle.

After I finish my work I think I will order a pizza and hit my craft room for the rest of the afternoon. Hopefully something creative will be created. BigGrin

Thank you all for your prayers. It may sound crazy but I can feel the strength from all the prayers. I know God is good. I hit a low spot yesterday knowing he is living his life as usual while my dgs is going thru so much. After venting last evening with my so who is also a state policeman my faith in the justice system is restored. I know they want a strong case and we must be patient a little longer. I'd feel better if it were the state police doing the work instead of the city police.
Solast night I went back and read thru what I have missed. First of all you all are posting wonderful projects! There are quite a few that have inspired me. Now, just need to get into my stash and make something. I did manage to make a birthday card for so's dgd's 2nd bday. No, didn't take a pic! Why do I forget that step?
Truth-prayers for your family. How terrible they will not allow family to see him.

Netta-prayers also to your family. That is so sad.

Pkay-My dd says she's not dating anymore. I know it is hard. How do you know who is safe anymore? No one is coming in my house again until they pass my test. Now when she finishes school, I will have to figure out a way to keep my nose in.Just kidding-sort of!

Kim-thank you! I may take you up on that!

I want to wish a Happy Birthday to all the March babies I missed! Hope they were good days!

Mom2-congrats on the DT!! I saw a page you had made for some circle thingy. I can't remember the name of the place now. But I bet you know what I'm talking about. It was really nice!! And you're a celebrity!

I need to get lunch ready for my guys! I hear the Mickey Mouse song ending! Thanks again, my sistas!

Dakotbear - Thanks for the update on Fran. I thought about her yesterday and meant to ask how she was doing.

Pkay - I'll join you this evening and get something started at least. I have a project in my head that needs to get pinned down.

Let me ask you all a question. My LSS is doing a DT call. The coordinator is someone whose work I love and is someone I would love to work with. She travels to national conventions, works CHA and usually teaches at least one class there. I am at my most creative when I am working around/cropping with other creative people. The store in the past has not had the most "fresh" of products out there. I only rarely go there for that reason. BUT, the last time I was there, they had several of the new Cosmo Cricut lines from Winter CHA in and the new Pink Paislee Winter CHA in. I think she had some Bella stuff, but that was a little more girly than I was looking for and I didn't get it.

So here is our discussion topic for today. Would you apply? We are only talking 2 projects a month, but using product the store sells. I have until April 15 to decide, and would only have to complete 1 layout to apply. Since I just dropped a boatload there stocking up on Cosmo Cricket, that won't be a problem. LOL LOL LOL

Hi everyone!

Ella so sorry to hear what your family is going through. After my 1st husband and I separated/divorced I didn't date around my son until he was old enough to date himself..slight exageration but close enough to the truth.

Cassie I was laughing at you and your Cinch!

Treva...I know you better break open the box on your Cinch..it will be a year soon!

My son attends VCU and won the school lottery so he will be attending the final four game in TX. Go Rams

Sharon - Oh wow that is GREAT news about DS. How exciting is that?

I thought I was going to get some crafting done tonight, but I had my eyes dilated today and things are just starting to clear up. LOL!! But more importantly, neither one of my cricuts is cutting right. I have messed up 5 pieces of chipboard. It's driving me crazy. Updating my gypsy now, then I'll try the cricut. Sorry for any typos, blame it on my vision or maybe I'm sick to my stomach over the cost of my new contact lenses.

Yaya - Cinch is easy. I love it! Not sure I'll use my BIA again. It will probably go on craigslist with the rest of the things I need to get together.

JCI to say hello and wish everyone. A peaceful night.
Before I go want to let Dakota know that it's awesome that Fran is recovering well, will continue to lift her up in prayer.
I too have a fairly new Cinch. I did use it to make holes once, but that's it.

Good evening ladies and gent

Today, I too had every intention to cut/create in the scrap room, designs on the gypsy and other program will have to come to life.

Is there a set date for the craft room launch?

Ellamap-glad they are making a strong case against him, loop holes would let him go free, I am continuing to uplift you, your DD and DGS in prayer
Cassie-glad you had a great time yesterday minus the contacts. I think the smaller dimensions of the BIA is the reason I kept both.
Renee- you should go for it,
Sharon-that is great news your son.
Treva-I bet VA is going crazy right now; I was watching them on the news for the homecoming return, what a great celebration
Karen-so sorry hear about your friend and your DU will keep you in prayer
Coffee-how fun it is planning your DD bridal shower. how did you put up your punches, I am trying to rearrange mines.
Kim-any good buys
Yaya-how is the Twilight albums going?
Dakotabear-glad to hear your is doing better, will keep her in prayer as well.
The Game season finale was not as good as I thought.
Well, I will check in tomorrow going to catch some ZZZ.
Have a good night everyone,

~~Netta~~
