Good morning everyone,

PKay--Thank you for starting a new thread.
Netta--Sorry to read about your cousin's son, prayers are lifted.
HisGem--I bought a lot of the staples early last year at a LSS on clearance.

Need to take one of my cats,Paws, to the vets this afternoon. Early this morning (1am) he had convulsions. Even thou he appears to be ok now, I want to have him checked out. He and his brother, they are 21 months old were rough housing at the time.

I'm posting the banner and card I made to my grandson this past weekend.

I bid you great tidings on this Friday night!

I am sending this post from the back room of the church. We are having intercessory prayer tonight from 9:30-1:00am. Yes, I hear you asking how can I be typing this message when we're supposed to be in prayer? Well, the praise team's rehearsal is running late! So, needless to say, we're now off-schedule.

I'm too far behind to catch up right now, but I'm sure the projects posted were off da chizain b/c ya'll roll like that!! I'll go back after getting some rest, and go from there.

The crop last w/e was great!! I actually finished 1 full year in my 2-year cruise album! Ask Cassie, that's a major deal for me!! I also set up a few cards, in an effort to have a supply on hand.BigGrin

Ok, gotta go now. Hope to get back out here some time tomorrow.

Bidding you all sweet dreams!!!

Update on Paws--the Vet says he is a healthy cat. To keep an eye on him, if it happens again and more severly to admininster him some valium rectally. And than a bloodwork will need to be done.

I made and mailed the last of the cards I need to make for a couple of weeks. Today two cricut cartridges arrived from Hallmark and some of the Tim Holtz things from HSN arrived. This weekend I might try to do some TH style projects.

CraftyNetta, ten years ago my family lost a very well loved family member to a shooting death. I am not sure my Aunt ever fully recovered. I know that as a parent, none of us believe that we will out live our children. This is not the order of things in our natural thinking. I will say that you need to keep your family member lifted up as much as possible and cover her with much prayer. I too will do the same. When this happen to us, I had just recently started living my life truly for the Lord. Eventhough my family was very angry at the shooter, I could not be. I was hurt that he killed my cousin and wanted him to see justice but at the same time, he too had a mother, kids, and family that he had hurt deeply.

Please try to tell her not to allow the anger at this senseless act to harden her heart. It is a never ending cycle. We had to continually go to court even after he was sentenced. When he came up for probation, when he would be moved things like that. It was as if we continually repeated the cycle again and again. This is why I encourage you to cover her in prayer. She needs to mourn her child, then move to celebrating his life. Grief is and can be a horrible thing to deal with. If you need an ear, we are here. Father, please comfort this mom. Lift and guide her as she not only has to bury her child but also prepare for a legal situation that will/can be very painful. I pray that you allow Crafty to be an instrument to be used by you. Your word says that you are the perfect peace, a peace that passes all understanding. Please comfort this family in their time of need.

If you need an ear, I will gladly call you. Please cover her with prayer, I can't stress this enough.

I am going to try and clean up this scrap room. It is a mess since my return from the Stampede. I will check in later for all of you late nighters

RE-POSTING...I posted it in the old thread!

Evening Ladies and Gent! I hope this post finds you all well! OH MY...so an all day affair but I think I tracked down pretty much ALL of my 2010 craft purchases for my taxes...for the biz you know and WOWOWOWOWOW I had NO IDEA I SPENT THAT MUCH IN ONE YEAR! OhMyGod A real eye opener!Scared I can't even say how much! Blushing I am hoping the expenses will really help me on my taxes then and I really gotta watch what I buy this year...I can't keep spending that kind of money! EEK! But I guess since I had NOTHING crafty, and it was my first year...I needed a lot of stuff?! Yeesh! So I finally calculated it all and shamefully emailed it to my Mom...I wonder what she is gonna say!Scared

Netta I am so sorry to hear about your Cousin's son. How tragic! My heart and prayers go out to your family.

Also, I FINALLY heard from CHAR!BigGrin She responded to my email. She is OK...with the meds she is on..she has become really anemic and is sleepy and lethargic all the time and have not had a chance to get on the boards. But I told her we were worried and she wanted me to let you all know she is ok and hasn't forgotten us!

Anywho...I am back to working on my ATCs for my swaps...I am behind on Feb and have to get March out and done...so...I plan to finish Feb and March this weekend!

But all this tax stuff wore me out! I may go lay down with a book!

Love the card and banner Dakota too cute! and Glad your kitty cat is fine!

Night Night ALL!

Good afternoon, It is sunny and cold here, reminds me of Feb. weather. Island was talking about doing taxes, which reminded that I haven't started mine. I always wait until the end, because I know I am going to have to take money out of the bank and pay.

Tsrel--Did you good ladies take any pictures at the Stampede? The posting I have seen on blogs and other sites you are not to be found.

Hi ladies. Just testing out posting from my new iPad. Today is our 23rd anniversary and DH woke me up to tell me he was going out to look for one for me. Verizon had a clearance sale on the V1's, so he got a really good deal on it. I love that man. We have been wearing it out today (both my son and i) and the battery is still going strong. That is a good sign. Just need to figure out how I am going to read and reply back now.

Anyway, I will check back later to catch up. Need to run pick up the pics for my last dt page. Then I want to try to do my scripture challenge pages. It seems so strange that forcing yourself to scrap would bring about the mojo, bit I have been on a roll since I just made myself do it I have all kind of projects floating thru my head since I started back to scrapping.

Good Evening, doing a driveby check-in....

Its after 9:00PM and I should be getting ready for bed but I'm not. I've had a sorta busy day today which means I didn't get anything done. I did manage to wash two loads of laundry, take my car to the car wash and meet up with Sharon and chat for a few. I hope that I can get something scrap related done before I go to bed but that may not happen.

In case you hadn't heard and didn't get a chance to visit my blog yesterday I'm still celebrating the March Madness basketball tournament. VCU is still in, they made it to the elite 8 and will play #1 seed Kansas tomorrow. They pulled off a one point overtime victory last night against Floriday. I hope we can pull off another cinderella victory. Its funny how the whole time I was in college I never really went to the basketball games and now the fact that they have made history by making it this far has me beaming with excitment!BigGrin

Okay gotta get off here, will chat with you all tomorrow. Wishing everyone a happy scrappin' night!

Good morning all, Happy Sunday!

Sending prayers up for Nettas family and Char we miss you.

Spent all day Saturday at an all day crop and was able to accomplish alot! But woke up this morning with TMJH (Too much junk hangover)!
I missed church and have to spend my day makinig a small wedding cake. I have been in the kitchen baking alot lately, although the money is okay it is time consuming work and can wears me out. It seems like the more I run from baking the more orders I getHuh .

I hope everyone has a blessed day I'm off to bake cakes.

Thanks PKay for keeping us hooked up!

Happy Anniversary Momto2!

I see HSN had the Nook Color on Friday night, and it took everything in me not to order. I am waiting on the April 26th release of E2.

Happy Sunday, hope the day finds everyone doing well.

Treva--UConn is in the final four. It was a nail biting game. I yelled so loud it scared both of the cats.

Trell--love your card! What did you use for the white stitching? And from what cartridge did you get the stamp shape?

Gr8tful1--sounds like you are a wonderful baker with all the orders you are getting.

Renee--I don't think I congratulated you on the DT position. Happy Anniversary!

Hey Everyone.

Hope this post finds everyone in good health and spirits. It is a lazy Sunday around these parts, and I have to say I needed it.

Dakota I hope your kitty is ok. That must have been pretty awful to see.

I am typing this message on my iPad, loving it. Trying to figure out how to view my digital subscriptions on my iPad. Still trying to figure that out.

Anyway, a few weeks ago I posted that I was burned out from stamping and taking a break. Well, just so happens that I had my yearly physical and turns out I'm not just burned out, I'm anemic. It is so bad that my doctor wants me to get IV iron infusions. I start the treatments on Tuesday. I am also reading and studying for my PMP certification and I am hoping that iron goes to my brain and wakes it up. Lol!

Well, even though this has been a lazy day, I still need a nap. Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

Happy Sunday.....

We're dancing in the streets as our VCU RAMS just beat #1 ranked Kansas so we're in the final four. BigGrin This is a first so its history in the making for our school.

Dakota, I know what you mean; my daughter kept saying you're too loud!

Ziggy, sorry to hear about the anemia, I have to take iron pills myself.

Tonya, nice card, tfs! I hope to get some scrappin' in a little later or I may just do some housework instead.

Wishing everyone a happy scrappin' day.

The stamped shaped card is on Birthday Bash. And I did my stitching with a Sakura gel pen. However, I recommend the Uniball Signo.
Thanks!

Good Morning All,

Monday is here once again, so let’s make the most of it.

Netta – Thanks on my mini scrapper. She wants me to give her sketches all the time now. She’s been asking for one for the last week and a half.

Dakotabear – Glad to hear Paws is ok. LOVE the banner!

IslandV – Thanks for the update on Char. How are you going to tempt us with how much you spent then not tell us. Of course, I want to know now. I remember after realizing how much I spent in 2009, I knew I had to make a change.

Coffee – Happy Spring Break!!! Keep on walking…

Lisa – Not posting from the back of the church. I cracked up.

Renee – Happy Belated Anniversary. Too cool on dh getting you an ipad.

Treva – Go RAMS!!! I have a friend who went to VCU. This is certainly a sweet Cinderella story.

Trell – Nice card. I wish I knew what to do with flowers. LOL!!!

Ziggy – Glad you checked in. I pray your treatments go well. 2 Managers on my job are doing the PMP too. Good thing our workload has been light, as one of them has been using that time to study.

I have a Liturgical Dance Commissioning Service tonight. Send me some prayers. I think I strained some unused muscles in my back Satureday, during our last session, and I've been in pain ever since. It has subsided just a little as of this morning but I really want to be able to minister tonight with all that God has placed in me!

Have a GREAT day ALL!!!!!

Wait, I forgot to share the best news from my weekend. I decided to travel 35 minutes out (Columbia, MD) just to browse around a different JAs. I had the kids too, but they were occupied as I let DD get 10 sheets of paper and she had a hard time with so many options available. I rounded a corner and saw Cinch supplies and got excited, but, no machine or place for them. Went back to help DD and then told her I was going to Cust. Svc. The guy working that desk was the GREATEST I ever experienced. He went in the back and I all but jumped to the ceiling when I saw him round the corner with that pink and white box. it was the last one. I told DS how I excited I was and was quiet audible with my hallelujah. So, my 6 year old and I started jumping up and down in the aisle praising God. LOL!!!! Oh, the little things. I got in the car and realized it didn't ring up 40% off. So, back in the store we go. It took a lot and I had to tell him it wasn't an electronic cutting tool (which is why it was still regular price). So, I ended up paying $45. After using it that night, I could have tossed my BIA out the window!!!!
