Having been disillusioned by the Imagine I have decided to stick with my Expression and have just been given a pack of Cricut Markers. What I was wondering is, a) do they sketch out the complete picture which is then cut when the blade is added back ? b) and then is that image ready to be coloured? c) how do the Cricut Markers react with ProMarkers, i.e. do they bleed into the colour ? d) are there different thickness of markers ? Hope some of you lovely ladies can help me here

Sorry to hear the imagine didn't work out....just an expression owner here.
As for the markers....basically any cut the machine would make with the blade in will be drawn instead. After drawing, carefully take the pen out and then put the blade in and cut again (it is important to NOT unload the mat between the steps, otherwise it will not cut in the same place). I know for me I typically draw then cut, some do the other way around. Another pointer...you will probably need to change pressure and depth in-between.
As for coloring....I don't know much about how the markers work with pro markers....sorry.
As for marker width, no there isn't different thickness in the cricut markers....and I will say they make a pretty thick line....like a sharpie. So some more intricate designs, when drawn look a little messy. There are some non cricut products that will let you do a thinner line.
Anyway, guess I have rambled long enough....HTH
