This is my first easel card! I stuck all the parts together, then coated it with Glossy Accents! Makes it look even more cool and retro!

sarahpfab wrote:that is really neat! But what are glossy accents? Glossy Accents are another one of those things I never new existed before I got on this board! It is a clear dimensional embellishment. A lot of people use it as a glue too. It comes in a little bottle, with a really fine tip, and you just squeeze a layer over whatever you want to put it on, and when it dries, it is very glossy, and hard. Yep...I love it! Hope that helps!

Very cute card! How do you determine what size to cut the toaster? That is the problem that I always have; I do mostly quarter-fold cards and everytime I cut something its either too small or too big and I'm wasting a lot of paper. Did you cut the toaster at real dial size? Thank you.

Did you cut the toaster at real dial size? Thank you. I have a Gypsy, so I mostly use that. If you don't have a Gypsy, you can download a free trial version of Design Studio, and use that to see the sizes. You would have to purchase it to cut with any cartridges that you own, except the ones that came with your machine. But you can still make use of it for sizing. So if you set something to cut at two inches, then place it on the mat, you can see how big it will actually cut, even without cutting. Hope that helps!

I first bought it online from Joanns...but Michael's and Joanns has started carrying it locally - at least at my store! So...now I can use a coupon, and get a better deal on it! Heather
