I just got this cart during the Ms sale and haven't used it yet. Your question got me curious though, so I searched and found this from a previous post. Maybe it will help both of us. "The retro Botz are a little different in size, they have a bigger belly so on the Retro Botz you can use the Window feature and it will cut a small card to place on the front of the Retro Botz." (not sure I understand what that means, so I guess I'll just play with it at some point) I'm sure others will come to our rescue.

The retro robot's body is bigger so you can add the window. You can use all the layers for both. The shadow only works for the regular cut.

Thanks for showing me what you came up with. Now I understand better what the other post meant. Can't wait to see what I can do with this cart.

I got this cart for my husband's niece. She has 3 boys,11,3,1 so she should get lots of use from it. Those are super cute.

No, I think the saying came from Birthday Bash! The cartridge does have a cute font! Edited by user Sunday, February 06, 2011 3:30:06 PM(UTC)

I've used this cartridge to make a couple of projects in the last couple of days. I'm actually working on creating 26 robots with an different letter of the alphabet on each tummy.
I found the shadow worked for both the regular robot and the retro. The only difference I can find is the retro has the area for the window...which is cute and the other robot has different icon for his tummy.
On my gypsy I loaded both the retro and regular and overlaid them so I could see if there was a difference in size or not...there isn't. Layers work on both.
