Hello I just wanted to say first of all this is such a charming card. I have recently bought the Animal Kingdom cartridge for myself however I am very disappointed with it. Firstly my image of the zebra is nothing like this one. There is no image with patterns down the legs and the cartridge itself the icons on the keypad at the side bear no relationship to what they are supposed to do! The book mark icon brings up the border pattern and the border pattern appears to bring up either shadow or background the shadow and blackout are mixed up doing other things it is hopless trying to make anything at all. I am not sure whether it is the cartridge or the machine, so I am a bit disapointed so. So I came to look to see if others had had the same problem. Let me know if you have heard anything please? Thank you Heather

Hi Heather Rogers, To create the Zebra I had to use the pens with the cricut-have you tried that? I was a little frustrated with the cart but I really like it when the markers are used-otherwise there is no detail. Just a note that the sizes are not proportionate to each other a two inch zebra is huge next to a 2 inch gorilla. If you need any assistance let me know and I will try and help! By the way I cut a few items out and wrote the sizes on the back and keep them with my paper for reference. Hope that helps! Jeanene

Firstly I only have the Imagine and you can't use pens with it but that besides, why on earth I didn't think to put definition on it by hand I don't know! And yes I had found out the sizes are not proportionate to each other - what's that all about? I did a frieze for my grandson's bedroom with the zoo animals on it I ended up with a very scary penguin and a minute giraffe at first! . Perhaps the giraffe was meant to be in the distance! I think my observations were that the legs of your giraffe seem much chunkier also his nose unless it is the way the camera has caught it. I usually keep sizes for future use but I had to make so many adjustments I think by the time I had got it done I had lost the plot was tired and a little put off the cartridge but I won't forget that they need to be adjusted but it will be a while before I use it again. I am new to Cricut and only got my Imagine at the end of October when they were released over here so am still on that big learning curve but that's life Thanks again Jeanene Heather xx

Ohhhhhhhhhhh ... this is such a darling card. The zebra is absolutely adorable, and I love that you made the entire card in black and white. They are not traditional colors you associate with a baby shower, but somehow it just looks right and it all comes together so beautifully.
