One of the very 1st swaps I ever participated in on the old board was the "Surprise, Grab Bag". It was a TON of fun. I searched this board and can not find where someone restarted it. If you did, I apologize BigGrin

Basically, you DO NOT know what you will get. ITS A SURPRISE! This is NOT a wish list thread!!!

This is a great way to clean out some extras and make room for all the wonderful new CHA goodies that you know you gotta have BigGrin and a way to maybe get some cool new things.

This is a subsequent thread, meaning it goes person by person, one after the other, over and over.

Here's what you do....

Pack up a grab bag of goodies that you would like to share. Like, if you have 5 yards of ribbon and you want to share some, add it. If you have tons of brads, share them. And so on.

By posting the grab bag offer, the 1st person to snag it, gets it...

But, if you snag a bag, you must offer a bag!

Granted, this is a "Grab Bag", but PLEASE DO NOT put CRAP or OLD USELESS JUNK in it! You still need to make it a bag that you would like to receive. IF you send garbage you will not be able to continue to play. If you do not send the bag out, you WILL be added to the flakers list!!! I don't have a problem adding you to the list since obviously you dont care since you didnt send out and keep your word. You may not keep your word, but you can guarantee that I will keep mine by adding you to the flakers list!!!

So, I will start it off by offering a bag. If you take my grab bag, you must offer one up.

There isnt a limit of what you must send, but I would say atleast 3 things, not meaning 3 brads either! Example of some things you can put in your grab bag are: Ribbon, Lace, Brads or Flowers, Ribbon, Charms or whatever. I will leave it up to you, the mimimum is 3 items, the maximum is up to you. If you have a tool that you want to share, share it. Anything goes!!!! Got it?

YOU will be responsible for collecting your items. YOU will be responsible for sending your address via PM to the person who's bag you are claiming. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING YOUR GRAB BAG. I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT!

If the timeline has passed (2 weeks to mail and atleast 1 week to arrive, unless going across the border) and you have not received your grab bag, you need to do the following:
1. Send a nice reminder PM to the sender.
2. Wait atleast 3 days for a response, not everyone gets on the board everyday.
3. If no response, at this point its been almost a month, you contact me. I will send ONE PM to the sender, if no response I will add them to the flakers list. I ask that you attempt to collect BEFORE contacting me. Im here for FUN and [b]NOT[b] for your drama! BigGrin

You will have 2 weeks from the date you post you have a bag to ship it. Remember, you already made a grab bag before offering it so giving you 2 weeks to get to the PO is plenty of time.

COVER YOURSELF AND GET A DC#. They are .75 cents and well worth it!!!

So, who would like my grab bag???
