I am driving myself crazy. I am trying to cut a card on the creative feature key with some a4 card and 12 x 12. I keep getting the message that characters won't fit. I've tried all sorts and have lots of very small 2 3/4" cards. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

Are you using the "E"?
On the "E", if you don't have the piece at the upper right hand corner of the mat, the machine might think you are 1/4" too close to an edge (this is if you are using the lower left part of the mat). Are you using the dial to get the blade somewhere on the mat that the measurement might make the cut go past the far left edge of the mat? If so, it will probably tell you it doesn't have enough room to cut your selection.
Just trying to visualize what you "might" be doing.
