If you look at the bottom of the excel program window you will see some tabs that have the name of each cartridge on them. Click on each tab to see the RGB colors for each cartridge. Do you have to have those specific carts to use those colors? I'm still learning all this machine does.

Chris Provo Craft oh, I don't have excel, I have microsoft office & word I guess that must be my problem... And when I open your RGB COLORS FOR IMAGINE CARTRIDGES, it opens in microsoft word. Thank you, Nellie Ok, I'm really stupid, it does open in excel, as you can guess, I'm not good with a computer but I still don't see anything at the bottom of the sheet. Maybe I just don't know what I'm looking for. duh! Edited by user Wednesday, January 12, 2011 9:03:57 AM(UTC)

No. If you want to use these colors all you have to do is go to the color wheel in the Edit screen and enter the three color codes into the R,G and B fields. That will give you the exact color you selected. Chris Provo Craft

Chris Provo Craft Having gone back into the community and read a lot of the questions about when are the RGB colours coming and what you do with them-I get it-THANKS this is so clever. I have tried to find the quote, that I found last night, that explained it all so well but I can't. I'm just so pleased that 'I get it'. In the colour wheel, to make the correct colour, match the codes, entre the correct R, G & then B numbers and hay presto. If you have a cartridge where the colours don't print as they should, this file attahment will help you correct it. I have clicked all the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet and all the colour lists appear-Fantastic. Thats the second thing that I have done, with the Imagine, that has worked. The first thing that went well was my first update. I bit the bullet at the weekend and went ahead and did it. I had such a torrid time with my Gypsy that I had dragged my feet over this. I am just so pleased that I have finally achieve some measure of success. ThankYou ThankYou Thankyou

Thanks!! No but all you have to do is go to the color wheel screen and where it says "Basic Colors" click on the color and it will tell you the RGB code for that color. Chris Provo Craft

I have a question. How do we find the RGB codes for normal cricut cartridges? I found a list of color names and RGB codes online for Disney Characters. However, I do not know if Cinderella's blue dress is Mirror Mirror, Bother Free Blue, etc. etc. There are several listed in the blue spectrum.
Does anyone know how I figure this out? I guess I might need to print the list in color and then try to eyeball it, but perhaps somewhere out there exists a list saying "use THESE color names/RGB codes" for this particular Disney character.
Thanks if anyone knows!
Lori

Lori I have seen a few posts on these boards that list RGB colors for Disney but you will have to do a search to find them. Chris Provo Craft
