I have the 6"x12" cricut and i'm using the celebrations cartridge I'm creating 4 1/2" birthday invitations but I'm having trouble using a 5" envelope. All it cuts is a 2" envelope. Please help.
Any help would be appreciated.

do you have the cricut create or the original bug? the problem with the 6 x 12 machines is being able to cut envelopes big enough to use for cards

Another idea is to use the Cricut Craft Room ... with CCR, you will be able to stretch out your envelope to make it as large as you can and still fit on the 6x12 mat, and/or turn it if that will help it fit better. Then make your card the measurements that will fit within the center of your of your envelope when folded in half. The measurements will be easy to see on the virtual mat.
