Are there any tips or tricks on cutting the many layers of the lite cartidges? I'm just having a hard time seeing them and trying to figure them out. Thanks

Good question, I just opened my "DUDE" lite cart and was wandering the same thing. I am going to play around with it for a while right now.

Which Lite cartridge or cartridges do you have?
For example, I have Lacy Labels. The way that cartridge works is that the base key cut is the background for the design and phrase, the shadow for that background is the base key plus shift. The Layer key is usually the border on the background, which is layered on next. Then Layer key + shift is the last layer on top. I just numbered each column on the trifold pamphlet to help me keep track of which is which.
Other cartridges probably also have a similar pattern to how the layers work. If you name the cartridge(s) you are wondering about, somebody on here can probably help with the layering questions specific to that cartridge. I only have Lacy Labels and Chore Chart, so they're the main ones I know about.

I usually do a large cut as a sample on scrap paper so I can see what I'm attempting to make better. I also keep an extra mat to keep the tiny pieces from getting lost. HTH With the full carts there is a base cut to guide placing the pieces. I don't have any lites, so I'm not sure they have a base cut.

I GO TO THE OLD CRICUT.COM and look up information and pull up what cartridge i need and then I ZOOOOOOOOOMMM WAY IN, TO LIKE 400 and find the cut I want lol its the best way!!! for me IMO
