Question on expression cutting out holly with different color paper

Hi, I'm using the christmas cheer cartridge and was wondering if there is a way when I cut out the holly if I can say just cut out the leaves on green paper then cut out the holly on red paper without having to cut out the whole thing on each and wasting paper. Thanks!

The only way you can do that is if you have either Design Studio or a Gypsy. Both of those allow you to hide the "contours" that you don't want to cut. You can download the free trial version of Design Studio and have a play. Here's the link: http://www.cricut.com/cds/DesignStudioTrial1.aspxWith the trial version you'll be able to DESIGN with all the carts. You'll only be able to CUT with the cart that came with your Cricut. But it will give you an idea of how to use the Hide Contour Feature. Place the holly on your DS mat Left click one of the lines that you want to hide (it will turn red) Right click and select Hide Selected Contour (the line will then turn blue) Any line you hide won't cut.
