Hello! I'm new to this whole Cricut thing and I dont scrapbook but I love to craft! My mom bought me the original Cricut for Christmas. Well I've opened it to play with it a little before putting under the tree . So I have the Create a Critter cart and when I cut out the shadows they dont line up with the other layers. What do I need to do? TIA!

Sounds like you might have Real Dial size turned on. You need to have that off if your object is going to have a shadow.
Then make sure you leave the size set the same for the base layer and the shadow. (And any other layers that the object may have).
If you didn't have Real dial size on let me know.

If you didn't have Real dial size on let me know. Thanks I have a real dial size button. Turned it off and tried again and it still doesnt fit. I did all the layers on the same size.

the shadows are supposed to be a little bigger than your shapes so that they create a border around the shape
