 Whay do I have to cut hat & carrot when all I want is the carrot???? Anybody know how to do this? I pushed buttons till I was crazy but couldn't get it to cut only the carrot. Seems like a waste of paper to me. Probably something obvious but I just got this machine and am getting frustrated already. I see so many beautiful things on here and would like to make them.

Do you have Design Studio or a Gypsy ? You can hid what you don't want to cut if you have one of these.

I don't know what order Christmas Cheer has the carrot and hat but if the carrot is first then after it cuts just hit STOP button and UNload paper.I've done this on other carts and it was fine as long as I didn't have to do it more than 2 times. Then the machine got mad at me and just quit  .I had to turn it off and wait a few minutes for it to make up with me  .

I agree with Scrapnfan! I just got a gypsy and it takes scrappin to a new level! Its on sale at Michaels for $99. on Black Friday (just got their flyer) Saves alot of paper. Good luck
