I want to thank PattyGolden & Jayma15 for previous posts and links to the PDF booklets. I just noticed people requesting specific books and wanted to point out there is no need to wait for someone else to do it... it takes but a moment to make your own once you know the process AND you can customize it to fit your needs... if you have eagle eyes and want to save a tree - print 8 pages per page - if your eyes are old and tired only print 3 per page.
Oh and this only works for the full up cartridges with the little booklets - for the lite carts - still refer to the links provided in the previous posts.
Here are the steps to follow
1. go to Cricut.com -> Products -> Cartridges and find the product page of the cartridge you want.
http://www.cricut.com/shop/#0/2/0/2/Cricut/2. Under the Product details - select "Digital Handbook" and it will bring up a pdf copy of the book.
3. Scroll down to around page 20 and start looking for the first page of the detail sheets. Take note of that and then locate the last page (usually about 2 pages before the end of the booklet)
4. Select PRINT icon or File->Print. It will bring up the PDF print controller.
5. Select your printer... if you want a PDF copy, select a PDF printer. If you don't have one CutePdf or PDF995 are both good Free downloads - just google to find one. Or if you want a hard copy select a printer attached to your network.
6. Next under the section PRINT RANGE, click on PAGES and then enter 1, XX - YY (where XX is the first page of the booklet info and YY is the last page.) I put 1 in there so the first thing printed is the cover of the booklet to identify the Cartridge. Not sure how the other posters have presented their info.
7. The next section is PAGE HANDLING - you want to select MULTIPLE PAGES PER SHEET for the Page Scaling
8. For 'Pages per Sheet' - select CUSTOM - here is where you can choose 2 by 3 or 1 by 3 - whatever your eyes will tolerate! Personally I like the 2 x 3 - I also select PRINT PAGE BORDER because it makes a line around each page... totally a preference choice.
For Font cartridges I also make quicker cheat sheets. I like to know what specific letters look like without flipping to all those pages. so I locate specific letters that give me a feel for the size & style of the font. My preferences are A, E, G, M, W, Y - of course it is up to you. Then for the page range I type in 1 and those pages. For instance for LyricalLetters - it would be 1,28,32,34,40,50,52 and I have the cartridge and my key letters on one page. Of course once you pick you favorite letters, simply record the 'spacing' and you only have to look up the first letter. For mine once I find 'A' I just add 4, 2, 6, 10, 2 to the previous page number - Yes I have a sticky on my computer so I don't forget.
Hope this helps
Lori
