I went to Michael's last night and I was unimpressed with the open stock of paper. Any ideas of good places to buy online or in store? What about little independent places? Do they have a better selection than the big stores? :)

Papertrey Ink solids are my guilty delight, it's cost more, but is such good quality and the colors are beautiful. I do use a ton of the Reflections brand from Michales/ the comparable one from Joanns for cuts and stuff. For patterns I most often use DCWV, there is such a variety and they have some really nice paper stacks.

I find the open-stock selection WAY better at the independant stores near me than at the Michael's near me.

I love Coredinations cardstock, especially the gemstones. I also like DCWV patterned paper. I like to buy my cardstock when it goes on sales at Joanns. Last week they were 5 for 95 cents!!

I LOVE my Stampin'Up Cardstock!! I have my own "store" right at home! Love the way it matchy matches all my inks, ribbon, buttons, etc, etc. If you would like a small sample sent of the textured and smooth just let me know!! It cuts GREAT in the Cricut!!!

Joanne's is also my favorite place to buy both patterned and plain paper (open stock variety). I wait for it to go on sale, which it does very often, at 5/$1. One of the local stores has a huge selection but the other smaller store has very little. I guess it depends on your local store how lucky you will be. Other than Joanne's I buy more at A.C. Moore's than Michaels. I was just in my first Hobby Lobby and was in heaven. They also had a great selection but aren't located close enough to go often. I like the scrapbook store too, but their paper is much more expensive. I go there if I'm looking for something to fit a certain theme. Happy shopping.

I use DCWV most often. I buy the stacks at Michael's, ACM but most often on Joann.com when they have their 50% off sales. Stacks are $10...you order 5 of them and sipping is FREE! I've also used Walmart's solid cs...colored, black and white. never had a problem using them in my Cricut.
