I have my sister's Cricut expression and i am trying to get it to work so i can bring it back to my other sister to use (i already have an expression) My sister bought it back in 2006-2007 not exactly sure. i think she got it from Custom Crops. anyway she didn't use it for a full year. then in 2007-08 she went to my other sister's house to scrapbook with us. it was the first time out of the box and she just couldn't get it work. so it went in the box. well here it is 2010 and i have it and was going to see if i can get it to work. is there something i can try to hopefully get this darn thing to work. i also wanted to add that it is stuck in portrait too. FYI. i can't ask my sister about when she exactly bought it, where and all that jazz as she had a stroke and no longer remembers part of the conversation that she had with you 10min prior. edited to add. i just tried the resetting thing (you know turning the knobs 3times and all that jazz) and i thought i had success. i was able to cut 2 things out and then bam, not recognizing it again. this upsets me cuz this darn machine hasn't been used but a couple times that it did work. it is out of warrenty cuz it's been over a year but yet it never worked really.
