Is there anyway to layer with different papers? Such as a black square with a white letter B? Right now I have George & Basic Shapes, alphalicious. Waiting for my calendar one to come. Thanks for any advice.

What products do you have? Expression? Gypsy? Baby Bug? Need more information to help you out.

If you just want to make a simple monogram with the George cartridge, just cut the B and square out separately and then glue the B on top. Neither of the carts you currently own have specific layer features, but plenty of the carts do! Keep playing with it, you'll figure out all sorts of fun stuff to make with the Cricut!

I think I have the basic one. It cuts 6x12 paper.

That's the baby bug. You will have to do what LaGeorgia said - cut a box, cut the letter seperately and they glue them together. This should be pretty easy to do. Good luck!
