Is it just me or is anyone else having a hard time cutting any images out with this cart? No matter what I try to cut it comes out so thin it rips when I try to take it off my mat. Any sugg. would be helpful. I have tried diff paper, diff. speeds, diff press, and setting my blade from a 4 to a 6. I bought this cart. because my kids LOVE music so much, but I cant use it. Thanks

I was struggling with intricate cuts on several different cartridges. I always had great cuts using blade depth 6 but for some reason I changed it for a cut to 5 and it has made a really big difference in my cuts. I would have thought the pressure was the problem and had changed that many times. I found that the blade on 5 makes sharper turns and still can cut through cs. HTH

I always use multi cut, I recently was trying to use this cart to make a card using the Music font, (the one thats like sheet music) and it kept tearing when i would take it off the mat, but when i switched to a new mat it worked fine. and i always use a thicker card stock for more detailed cuts. Hope this helps.

recently I was cutting the BABY blocks from new arrival. I cut them 3 times, and each time they tore in the same spot. I changed the blade and 'a miracle happened'. it worked perfectly. there is a lot to be said for a new blade and a mat without lots of 'leftovers' on it.
