I've made an advent calendar using almost all of the "old" Christmas carts. I used photo cubes to hold each date. It took me a while to figure out which cubes need each number but I finally got it. I think these could be a great project for someone teaching a number of different techniques. Each week you could do a different side of the cube using different techniques and at the end you would have a full project. I'm especially pleased with the one side I showed here. If you want more information or would like to see the rest of the sides, please check out my blog. You can go directly to this post at http://ksdcreations.blog.../09/advent-calendar.htmlI flocked the Santa hat and the background paper is embossed using a Cuttlebug snowflake folder. I would appreciate any ideas on how to make these better. I'm thinking about make a bunch for Christmas this year. Edited by user Thursday, September 30, 2010 3:59:31 PM(UTC)
