Just wanted to say hello! I hope everyone is having a good school year so far! I actually used my Cricut for my classroom - I cut months with Designer's Calendar. I had a really cute blank calendar, but no months that really matched.

I've been asked to work on bulletin boards at my son's middle school. Looking for ideas and help.

Hi! Even though I've been teaching 8 years, this is the first year I've used my Cricut for school stuff! Let's see....
I used Designer's calendar to make the days of the week for my assignment board.
I used Designer's calendar to make the month names for my calendar.
I used Storybook to make a really cute sign that says "Quote of the Week".
I used Lyrical Letters and Old West to make a bulleting board that says "Nothing to do? Read a book!"
I used Opposites Attract and Cuttin' Up to make a huge sign (letters are 12") for the front of my room that says "We are WILD about ENGLISH!"
Once I have some more time, I plan to do more because it all turned out great:-)

There are so many ways we can use our cartridges for the classroom. I love to make posters and create bulletin boards for everything! I love your ideas on the board and I hope to add to them. Have a super great day everyone!!! Wendy www.cricutyourclassroom.com

It's my goal to use my cricut more for decorating my classroom this year. I'm looking forward to getting inspired by ideas here!

I love using my Cricut in the classroom. I made the best posters for Pirate Math Night with Paper Dolls, I made signs for turning in work, instructions for classroom procedures with Doodletype, I cut out a bunch of Halloween Paper Dolls for my students to put together as a reward for Friday. I made signs for the local restaurant using Designers Calendar (Restrooms for customers only, Use other door) I made a pin the jeans on the teenager game using paper dolls and slumber party.

I make word magnets for my chalkboard and whiteboard. I write up the day's activities every day....my board always says the subject, then "Learn" and "Do" and "Homework." I made up the words learn, do and homework and each subject area, then I don't have to write those on the board every day, just whatever the objective and activities are each day. I also made up magnets for the days of the week, the month and date. Then I just change those out every day too.

Hi teachers I'm not a teacher, but I'm our 4-H club's Educational Program Leader and my 12 yr old dd is this years Educational Director. So we use our Cricuts a lot for both her and the clubs 4-H projects We have used our Cricut on each of her last three years public presentation posters. We have also used them each of the past three years on her 4-H educational poster entries. She has gone to County level each year with her presentations and she has gotten blue ribbons, judges choice and reserve champion on her fair posters. This week we are working on a poster for the teen leaders skit I would like to post pictures of some of her projects here in the educational forum, but I'm always unsure what section to post them in. If anyone has a suggestion, I would love to hear it. Thank you! ~ Dori ~
