 I recently updated both my software and firmware. Now when I use DS and create a cut-out... the software and cricut will run through the cart. varification and cut the design, but when it says 100% done on the screen, it stays that way, when I cancel and try to cut the design again, I am forced to restart the program to get each additional cut, of anything. Ugh what is happening? Any adivice please...

The first thing I'd try is to shut down DS and reboot your computer.
Then, before you start up your DS program again, I'd turn my Cricut off and back on. Then unplug the USB and plug it back in.
Start up DS and try your cuts again.
If that doesn't work I'd do a reset on my Cricut machine.
Then call customer service if that doesn't fix the problem. They're great about walking you through fixes.

Any chance you are on one of the enlarged screens when you are cutting? I've had problems when I've done that.

Are you using the menu in design studio to tell it to cut more than once?

Mine did the same thing, so I rebooted everything. It worked fine after that. It has happened once or twice since then, but usually it has to do with me changing around jukeboxes and forgetting to turn the machine off first.
