Do you ladies take your Cricut to crops? If so, how do you transport it and how/where do you set it up? I saw a lady at a crop who had brought her Cricut in a rolling cart and then had the Cricut set up on top of the cart. Has anyone seen this or tried it? Do you know which cart the baby bug will fit in? Thanks, Sheri

I most definitely take my Cricut to a crop. I can't scrapbook with out. Mine just sat front and center on my table.

I have taken a side table if yu dont have alot of room to put yur Cricut. I also bring my own extension cord and power strip (i have a gypsy as well) and tape to tape down the extension cord. I would ask yur Crop host what space is available for you. i also try to sit near a wall so i dont block people with my side table. good luck and have fun!
oh and i carry my cricut (i have an expression) in a large, sturdy duffle/travel bag my mom found at Sears.
karen :)

I almost always take my original baby bug and leave my E at home. I have a wheeled bag to carry it in-also take extension cord and power strip, although more crops are providing easy access to electric. I usually do ask for a seat close to an outlet. I keep it on my table space, if there is room. I have friends who sometimes bring small extra tables for theirs.

I take mine only if I know there will not be a Cricut there for everyone to use, and will need to cut some images ... which means I take it to about half of the crops I go to. If I am bringing mine, I try to be extra early so that I can be near an outlet and also bring an extension cord and a power bar (with the muliple plugs), just in case others need outlet availability too.
I have a rolling tote for my E which really helps with the transporting ... I don't have a rolling tote with a table top though, but that sounds awesome. I hope someone knows what type of tote that would be, and where to get it ... that would make an excellent addition to my scrapping supplies ... especially for crops!

yes, I have a create that travels with me to crops. MY Creative Memories cons.knows that I don't crop without my cricut and my computer, so she always has space for me :-). M's sells a scrapbook tote on wheels that fits the baby bug nicely. It's what I used for my first machine (the baby bug).

I always take my E with me. I also take an extension cord just in case. I put it on my table. I have seen woman who have small tables and I have also seen wire racks used that puts the E a little higher on the work space. I like the idea I just haven't found a rack that works yet. Want to find one that folds down but so far have only found the ones that don't fold up. I have a gypsy so I don't bring all my carts since theyn are on the gypsy, unless I have a friend that needs them. I have mine in a tote bag on wheels works for me. I own two E's so one stays at home and one travels with me.

I occasionally take my Create to crops. I have to know that I will really use it otherwise I end up spending more time explaining it to others! I have a CGull rolling tote for it and I carry an extension cord as well. Only down side to the tote is that it's a little tight getting the machine into it - I feel like the zipper should have extended down each side a little more. My E always stays at home.

I take my Create to SWARMS, leave the E at home.
Sometime, between the time I bought the E and before I bought the Create, I read a post from PC to keep the cardboard packing to secure the carriage when taking a Cricut somewhere. So, I kept that cardboard (had tossed the one from the E) and use that to secure the carriage and I just carry it by the handle.

Oh, yes! Take that Cricut to your next crop! I found out the reason we call a Cricut crop a SWARM...that's what you have when you have 15, 20, 30 Cricuts cutting at the same time! Sounds like a SWARM of Cricuts!

I definitely take mine to crops. I purchased a Kobalt 26in tool box from Lowes for like $22. DH painted it for me using the fusion paint. Expression sits nicely int here and I cover with a towel for extra cushion. NIce and sturdy. Have room for extra cords too.

I take mine along with an extension cord. I take my Create and leave the E at home. I use a sewing machine tote and it fits perfect with mats and extra cords.

I used to take mine to swarms but the place where we crop bought their own and we all use it. Ever since I bought my Gcull rolling tote for my E I have never used it.

I've been to two swarms lately and both times took my E. I haven't yet found something to carry it in so I just take it in the original box. Still weighing all the options for what's available. The place where I've been going (Personal Scrapbook in Allen, Tx) has a great set up with plug ins on every table and lots of room to play. Next time I go, I'll take pics.
That tool box from Menard's is awesome
