What do it mean when using the Blackout button. What's the differnce between blackout and shadow? Michelle

Black out usually means that it will cut the same size as the die cut but will not cut out any of the inside. Example if the die cut had eyes the eyes would not be cut out. Shadow usually means that it will be slightly bigger than the die cut out to give the illusion of shadow and usually doesn't cut out the inside parts either.
