And all it took was swapping cartridges with a friend.... lol how sad is that?
My friend had an older George cart (and she doesn't have a Gypsy, nor the intent to get one)....
I had a George cart from the rewards site that I got in January.
I linked hers, and gave her mine...
I'm so happy to at least finally have it!!!

Mine wouldn't link until I put it in my E backwards. Then it worked just fine. Makes no sense to me, though.

I guess I was lucky after reading about how everyone had so many problems I was able to link George through my E only had to try it a couple of times and it took. I don't know what I would do without George I go to that cart more often than not! Congrats on finding a way to get it loaded.

I'm glad it worked out for you -- that must be the trick: an older George cart. I have the one that I got with my baby bug in 2006. I had to try a couple of times, and it had to be inserted in the Cricut and the Gypsy connected to the Cricut for it to link. I wonder what they changed about it that makes the new ones not want to link.....curious....

I just got the gypsy and linked all the carts. Waited to do george since I saw you all had trouble. I first had to update my cricut. Then it still didn't work so I turned the cart around and it worked! Oh I am a happy woman!
