Wow everyone! WOW! Thanks so much for your kind words. As I said, I had a TON of help! It has been a joint effort by some amazing people!
I just want to say this.
Each month, month in and month out, there are an awesome group of women on this board who serve religiously...steadily...and quietly. While I appreciate your accolades, truly it is those who serve privately who deserve praise. I posted more out of a thrill of being done and hope to raise awareness for the Cards for Soldiers.
For those of you who mention accomplishing 15 cards for them...THANK YOU! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! We need more like you to make this happen!
Again, thanks so much for your kinds words...but my prayer is that it motivates you to make cards...or maybe even ONE card, for this great cause.

That's awesome! They look great!!
If you don't mind my asking... what about the postage for the bulky cards? Isn't it going to cost them extra to mail out? (The ones with the bulky bows.) It's usually extra for an envelope that doesn't lie very flat because it's 'non-machinable'.

It's usually extra for an envelope that doesn't lie very flat because it's 'non-machinable'. I don't mind you asking at all. Soldiers do not pay for postage for letter. Further, even though they do have to pay for "packages", they get reduced rate if they used "SAM" which means "Space Available Mail." So, for them, their cards home will be free. Great question... What a wonderful, thoughtful thing to do.
As for the bows, I make them all the time and send the cards. The lady at the post office would not give me the "doodad" that you can measure them by, she only had one, but showed me how thick they can be. Also, if I use metal embellies I sometimes put a piece of cardstock on the face of the card, and I have never had any trouble with needing extra postage.
