The old one was being held together with bandaids and its crutches were about to give out.
Seriously, the software platform on the old board was just not built to service as many members as we have or hold all the work we share which was why it was running so slow.
It won't take very long to learn your way around here.
Hope you find the time to save any info from the old board that you need.

Di, we've waited a long time for the upgrade. The response time on the old servers was so poor. I think you'll really like it once you get used to it.

This is great. I had stopped reading the message boards because it was ssooooooooooooooooo slow. I for one am happy to see this new message board.

I agree. I never posted on the old board, I was mostly a reader (stalker?  ) but this message board is sooooo much faster that it's 10x more bearable now! Yiippeeee. =)

I LOVE the new board!! I am so psyched! I too quit coming for a long time and now I am back baby! This is awesome!!  I think its great to clean out the old and bring in the new and it gos so much faster and I can find things allot easier! Hopefully new board equals new attitude! I love my cricut, my gypsy, my expression, and my YUDU!! and of course I love the new board!

I actually find this message board to be easier to use then the old one! Plus i can talk to everyone on my iPad. The old message board didn't work on my iPad. I love how much faster it is. I will be using this message board!

You just wont be able to post on the old forum after October 1st. And many of the tips you read and reread can be downloaded to a document on your pc so you can have it available even if the forum isn't.

They are closing the vinyl forum on the old MB today. And, I'm afraid if people don't start following the rules for posting, this one may not last very long.

usaladydi - that's not very nice to respond to a Circle member (or ANYONE) like that....you have your choice to join just like we did. Remarks like that will only make you look bad to other members.

I also love the new boards I love that they move sooo much faster. I think that everyone should just follow the rules it isn't that hard we are all adults no matter what board you are posting on.
