I was doing a lot replying a few mins ago, and my first reply was fine.
But a few seconds later when I wanted to reply again, I would hit reply and a notification window came up.
Saying (you cannot post for 27 seconds). I closed it, hit reply again, same window this time saying 22 seconds, it kept on doing it with the seconds going down, like 16 sec, 8 sec, then my reply went thru.
Anyone get this?
If not, try just doing a Btt to a topic, then go to another one and btt that one and see if you get it.

Yes I've had the exact same thing happen. I think do timed posts so it helps cut down on spam post on the boards.

I HATE that!!!! I never considered myself a fast typer but I guess so cause I have gotten that message several times, oh well its probably a good measure to keep this mb running quickly.

It's an option built into boards and input applications to prevent flooding. An entire network can come to a halt if there are multiples of people doing this at one time. Ever see a message board with entry after entry of those drug or sex postings? It's not worth their time, if the post interval time is set just right. Smile

I know what you mean Stacy ... and it happens frequently, especially when the MB has a lot of members trying to post. Guess it's just PC's way of saying ... "WHOA, slow down"!

But I admit it ... I am impatient and always trying to do things in a hurry! Sad
