I went into JoAnn's today for sequin pins and as I was walking to the register... There she was!! A green E!! BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

Two years ago I got the E2 and have never used it because I couldn't get the hang of it. Just really liked being able to manually dial sizes and such.

I had given my original E to my DIL so I was very frustrated...

Then today... THERE she was a beautiful green E with my name on her! I grabbed her up and marched to the check out!

This is SO exciting! I am very relieved to have my original style E back again!

Now I can put my E2 on Craigslist or a FB garage sale in my area! Maybe recoup a bit of what I paid today.

That was so nice of you to give one to your DIL; I'm sure she's glad you never asked for it back!! Too bad you didn't get your E2 going, though.

I love the green color of this year's "E". I already have a backup sitting in the closet, so it wasn't justified to get another one.

Have fun with it!

Char

Thank you Rhondah and Char...

Rhondah, It is a beautiful green! I was expecting a brighter green but was pleasantly surprised!!

And yes Char I am sure she is glad. Although, I don't know if she will ever really use it. It was a gift so it matters not what she chooses to do with it.

I just missed my first E so much that when I saw this one I could not pass on it.

I hope she will someday see the fun in owning a CRICUT machine....and the things you can do with them. She's probably too busy to appreciate it; especially if she has a young family.

Me too Char!! And yes I am sure you are right... They do have a teen and two small children plus she is working. I am giving her gift cards to M's and J's for Christmas this year. That way she can get a few carts for it or whatever she fancies.

I fell into an E2 even though I had my self convinced that could find an E cheap even if it meant buying on Cricut.com. Well, at noon on Wednesday I ended at J's to get a few of the cheaper paper pads and joked the one clerk that they sold all the E2's. she said they got some other stores order and were stuck with 50 and figured her bonus was going down the drain and she left the aisle I was in and came back a few moments later and said there was one more at the end of there 'truck' and I laughed until she put it in my cart. So, now I bought the E2 and have absolutely no Idea how to do this. I will have to wait till after my cards are done this week before I can even unbox it with the mess I have.

I know what I will be doing in the cold days of January!!

Anyway, you don't give me much hope in learning this thing???!!!

There is a learning curve but once you get it you'll be fine. I laminated a cheat sheet and that helped me so much during the first few weeks with an E2.

Annabella... I am SURE you will do just fine!!!! It was just a matter of me being so used to the original E that I missed the ease of it. Plus I am REALLY liking the green! LOL My Craft room is painted Periwinkle. :D

A FB friend has already told me she wants my E2 so I will be delivering it on Wednesday! :D I will recover most of what I spent on this one too.

I bought one too. I work at J's and I do use CCR so this was a deal to good to pass up. I think this one is going to go live with my MIL so I don't have to haul mine when I visit her. Perhaps she will use it too.

That is a GREAT Idea Leanner!!! I played with CCR a bit today and I think I will like it because now I can weld letters together for titles! I welded and cut my name out today and it looks great!

LN... You are most welcome!

I sold the E2 today! So it's all good! Then I went to M's and got the Winter Wonderland cartridge. I know I don't need an overlay to use it in CCR but they didn't have one, nor even know what I was talking about.
