Thanks for the descriptive explanations Denise. Using one of those slates is a great idea to use as your backdrop vs. a canvas or thick chipboard, etc. I saw those hanging slates at M's not long ago.

You did a real nice job on the tags too. A little bit of this and a little bit of that! lol Just like Mr. Tim himself would do.

My package came this morning but I had to do errands and a few around the house things before I opened itBigGrin

I must say a big Thank you to Terri for a wonderful box.BigGrin BigGrin No Dibbs so don't even think about itBigGrin
I am not sure which item actually goes with what directive but I don't think it matters that much. She certainly covered them all.

1st picture is of some bought items. G45 By the Sea pack, TH new blending mini tool, some ideology baubles and some really pretty embellies!!! They will all get used that is for sure.

Next picture is a canvas that she made me using the G45 By the Sea paper stack. She knows me pretty well!!! I love all the colors she used in it along with all the embellies.

3rd picture is of 3 tags. Great inking and embossing on them even if the pictures don't show it very well. Terri does a great job on tags. Something I am not the best atBlushing

Here is the book she made meBigGrin It is a memory book for 2014. It has pages and pockets for each month. She used many different techniques here and it is beautiful!!!!!! I can see me putting some of my little souvenirs in these pockets.BigGrin Love all the different techniques she used just on the cover alone. Love the watch, the metal butterfly and background and the wire in the flowers. Super job!!! Here are pictures from the front to the back covers.

Yep! Super nice items! Lucky you to receive one of those mini blending tools after I was just saying I keep checking the local stores to see if they are in stock yet. lol

The tags are super nice and great use of the mistletoe stencil! I really like the poinsettia tag!

The album is super nice idea! A good way to try out so many different techniques! Nice job on the cover too!

The only fallback to these swaps is we're always struggling to get pictures that truly show the quality of the techniques used!

Wonderful job Terri and enjoy your goodies Jean!

and that completes this swap ladies! THank you so much for a great swap! It was a great way to step into the world of Tim Holtz and I appreciate how you all made a good, honest effort and succeeded too!

I have a ton of stuff going on for the next several weeks so I have no idea when I'll be able to swap again. So can't give you a time line of when to keep your eyes peeled for a new swap.

Enjoy the sunny days finally sneaking in!

Thanks Jean for the compliments. Gwen thank you for being such a great hostess
and I will be looking out for more of your great ideas and swaps.

Jean as for the techniques and which ones with which. I had a hard time figuring them out after doing them. Si many when hand in hand. I think I used them all on the book.

The tags were so much fun to do. Loved using the stencils. Have purchased more since I got the holly one and can't wait to see what other uses I can come up with for them.

I really like that holly stencil and some of the new TH ones. Waiting for his new stuff to show up in the stores. Looks like maybe late summer for some of itSad Sad I have tried the stencils with texture magic and it comes out pretty cool. That is what I used on your canvas I think.
