I will be attending a crop and am able to use an Expression machine while attending so I won't need to bring mine. My question is....if I take my laptop and USB with me, can I link to their machine and cut through my craftroom account? Thank you

If your laptop is one of your two computers with cutting rights for your CCR account and the firmware is up to date on the Expression that is at the crop, you can cut from your CCR account to their E.

Remember that you HAVE TO HAVE INTERNET ACCESS to use CCR! Most of the crops I go to do not have internet access so that leaves CCR out!!!!

Don't ever update the firmware on their machine without checking with them first either. A lot people still use 3rd party software and a firmware update could really cause them problems.

thank you everyone. What I know is...she has wifi, she has never used CCR with her machine but always wanted to and was really excited when I told her how useful it was. I plan on bringing my USB cord in case she doesn't know where hers is, since she has never used CCR with that machine. Now I'm thinking I will take my E2 along anyway. Would hate to get there and not be able to use a machine. Then I'd be stuck buying precut images Cursing

I think you taking your own cricut machine is the best thing to do.

But if you ever do use another cricut, make sure you remember to change the machine type if it's different than the one you use.
