Would you gals please post here when you see this message?? Thanks.

It is nice to know that my Cricut friends are still concerned about my safety :). Glenda asked that I come in and report and so here I am.

My town had watches but nothing came of those. However, I have several family members that were in the path of the tornado. I am still waiting to hear about my nephews but so far my sister and nieces have reported being safe. The last I talked to anyone they were unable to go and check to see if their homes made it through. One of my nieces stated her home was okay and she was opening it and also the house she is working on to flip for anyone who needed shelter.

Please pray for the families who have lost loved ones. At this time there as been a total of 37 confirmed deaths and they are doing a "search and recovery" at Plaza Towers Elementary. This is the same school that my 3 nephews and 2 nieces attended when they were children.

I am thanking God for blessing me with family who is safe at this time but my thoughts and prayers are with those who are suffering from this tragic situation.

Thank you everyone for your concern, it truly means a lot to me.

I received this email from Linda - LGuild, thank God she is O.K. but others are not

Thank you for your concern. We are just fine. Moore is about 45-50 miles west of where I live. Yes, there were 2 grade schools hit. So far they're not releasing numbers of children but it's going to be really bad at one of the schools. They're bringing in portable lights to continue to search. At this point they brought in cadaver dogs to continue the search. I'm hoping and praying that the dogs will find children buried under the rubble that just can't call out for help!

My heart goes out to the people of Moore. An F5 tornado followed this same path on May 3, 1999. I can't imagine having to go through this twice.

Thanks again for thinking of us! Pray for the city of Moore and the parents who have lost their children at the school.

I am about 100 miles south of Moore. We were under tornado warnings and had circulation within a few miles from my house. We spent the evening in my craft room basement with about 21 friends, neighbors and family and dogs. All are fine. We did lose eletricity for about 12 hours.

Moore and Shawnee and parts of OKC are going to have a long recovery process. The reports from the medical examiner will only confirm 24 deaths but know there are more. 7 are children, I presume from the elementary school that took a direct hit.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
