QOD: what project have you done that you are most proud of?

For me, one of my most favorite projects was the steampunk wreath I made for Peachy in the 12 day swap.

just posting my weekly check in...

QOD: what project have you done that you are most proud of?

I think it had to be a couple items I made for ChefKimmo. It was nothing super hard but I had so much fun with the 2 page LO I did her about good looking cowboys in jeans.... It was truly an awesome looking set of pages.

But also in that same swap I made a paperbag mini album - Brandon's Pigtures... obviously themed for all his FFA pigs.

JeanP helped me out with that name and she helped me out with the jeans supplies for the LO and we just had a blast cuz we were making both items so personal for Kim and her son Brandon.

It was just special!

But if I looked thru all my pictures of all my swaps, I bet I could list 10 more items I loved making!

[quote=KelleyRooks;1705895]QOD: what project have you done that you are most proud of?

The altered wooden purses I made at Christmas for NoahsArk Girl and Cindy Adamson. I really stepped out of my safety zone and loved how they turned out!
I also liked the paintbrushes I made for Jean and Terri recently. Learning to heat emboss was really cool!

Well I made this lovely pink box for Kelley LOL LOL LOL

I think it's the mini-albums that I have made for swaps, I'm not sure if I could pick just one of them ... also an altered box that I did for one of those wonderful swaps where you're partner never acknowledged that she received it ... I just went looking for the picture of the box, and realized that in the same swap I did an awesome mini too ...

Always the jokester CandyLOL

That is a bummer about someone not acknowledging they received a nice box and mini. Where is the courtesy in that?

I have never been so exhausted in my life. I have been cleaning like crazy for days. Then company came in - all 7 of them. Was up until 1:30 last night. Got up at 5:30 - took josh to his baby sitting job, came back and worked until 8, the baby sat 5 kids until 7:3o, dropped josh off ad picked him up from class. I am so pooped. Gwynne don't know how you do it. Waiting for them to come back - thinking i will hit the bed early.

Just a reminder - the questions for the "How well do you know the person you are creating for contest" will be posted on May 10th.

You will have until then to research by asking you partners questions, posts, mq...Some will be easy and some will be a little more difficult.

Once the questions are posted you cannot look up the answers or ask your partner. Once you are done, pm your partner to ask them to review their answers. Your partner will need to pm me with the number you got right. if there is a tie, I will do a random drawing between the ones that have the most.

The prize will definitely be worth playingBigGrin

QOD: what project have you done that you are most proud of?
I was in a Christmas swap and my partner like fleur-de-lis, so I picked up a clipboard shaped fleur-de-lis and cut up some papers to create patchwork pattern and hand-stitched them. It was a lot of work but like the way it turned out.

Ok....here are the questions for the "How well do you know your partner?" quiz.

Rules:

1. Answer as many questions you can from memory about the person you are creating for. (Cannot look up the answers or ask your partner).
2. Have you partner review your answers and pm me with the number right.

3. I will send a prize to the person with the highest number right. In the even of a tie, I will a random drawing among those who have the most.

Questions:

1. What style/theme did your partner request for her configuration box?

2. What does your partner not like related to crafting?

3. What state does your partner live in?

4. Did you exchange contact information with you partner?

5. Tell me one thing about your partner that isn't on their mq or questions?

6. What page or post number is your partner's mq on?

7. Name 3 of your partners 10 most favorite products from their mq.

8. What is your partner's favorite paper?

9. What is your partner's favorite color(s)?

10. What technique does your partner want to know more about?

Good luck.
