I have been trying to Synch my Gypsy with Craftroom for over a year now.
I have over a hundred cartridges.

Support has stated that that option will be released soon. That is the same thing they said about a year ago.

Does anyone have a workaround ?
I still have all the cartridges.

Please advise.

No, but I've been anxiously awaiting the same thing!! I don't have all my cartridges due to swapping them with my friend who doesn't have a G, this way we both benefit from more cartridges. So, PC needs to try to get this situation resolved!!

I wish there was a way to get the carts I have linked on my g linked to my CCR account too! It's not like I have hundreds of carts...maybe somewhere around 50, but many times I use several carts on a project and it's a pain to have to get 8-10 or more carts out to cut everything. This is when I do projects like recipe binders or alphabet books.

That was the game plan originally to be able to link the G carts to CCR, but I guess PC's techies haven't figured out a way. *sigh* Any of my new carts I purchace, I have been linking directly to CCR and then syncing my G to get the carts on my G.

The only work around I know of is that when you get a new cartridge, link it to CCR first and then update your gypsy. You can do so just a few minutes afterwards. It'll then put that cartridge on the gypsy. Talks that direction, but not the other yet :( Good question for Nathan.

Is it 100% sure that if I synch my cartridge with the Craft Room that I will be able to add it to my gypsy?

Well, nothing is 100% sure except taxes and dying. The variable is Cricut Sync connecting with your Gypsy. It usually works.

You might be able to sync your Gypsy via Cricut Craft Room - I'm not sure about that. But someone else will probably know for sure.

I've only used Cricut Sync to update my Gypsy and digital content. Never had a problem.

I had to call PC this past week because I was having trouble using my Gypsy with my baby Cricut. The tech on the line made a point to tell me that they were very close to having a fix enabling us to link our cartridges on our Gypsies to the CCR.

When I use the Craftroom, I usually do one of two things. One is I design on Craftroom and then duplicate that on my Gypsy. The other is to save my project as a Gypsy file on my laptop and then connect my Gypsy and download it to cut. I have my cartridges stored away to save room and would hate to have to take them out all the time to use the CCR.

Make sure the cartridge you are linking to CCR is under "All Cartridges" on the Gypsy. That will tell you whether or not it will sync to the Gypsy.
