I have never bought any other type of laminate for it but have often wondered if I could. The price on those seems to change so much that I hope you got a good deal on it. I have used mine to do a few books and they have stayed together just fine. One of them does have WAY to many pages in it but is still holding up.

I just bought one 3 weeks ago and paid $30 at cricut.com so you got a good price. I did notice that cricutmachine.com has it for $14.95, which is strange because they are provocraft??? I have tried mine out and like it. It did a great job of laminating. Enjoy!
