I have now spent over 15 hours trying to log in, synch my machine, and access what look to be wonderful accessories in the Cricut Craft Room. This is ridiculous. Evidenty this is a problem that's been on-going for over 2 years. Why isn't there more assistance from Cricut on these issues??? Could they have customer support available on the weekend when some of us are only able to craft? I did have an email response from then about 3 days after contacting them, telling me to disable my ati-virus. Done, and then some, and STILL I am getting the same error messages. I am so very disappointed. I have now listed my X2 and my personal Cricut on craigslist.com... If it takes this long to get to the usable part of the product, it is not worth my time. Linda

Linda,
Have you ever been able to get in CCR? Or is this your first go-around?
Here are a couple of things you might try;
If you are running a windows 8 computer, you need to run it in Windows 7 Compatability Mode.
Make sure you have the latest update of Adobe Air
Make sure you have the correct drivers installed.
If you have to download anything - do it with Internet Explorer ( not Chrome or Firefox browser)
When you go to install something, turn off your antivirus AND your windows Firewall. You can later go back and add the "exceptions" to your antivirus that will allow your program to run
*** If you pm me with your email address I will forward the pdf attachments that were sent to me from Tanya at ProvoCraft customer support *** They are very clear explanations and they helped me when I was setting up my new computer. If I could figure out how to do attachments to this post I would. But I can't figure it out.
Anyway, the above are a few things you could try.

Well, I just tried to attach the files, and this message board will not allow pdf files as an attachment. Sheesh...
