I just got my mat and used it may 6 times and its not sticky anymore! I found something that really works great!
1) take a lint rolled over your mat to get the lint off.
2) take painters tape and cover all around the boarder of your mat.
3) Spray your mat with (spray n bond bbasting adhesive it has to be basting adhesive not spray glue!
4) put your paper on the mat!
5) put the plastic cover back on when your not using it.
it really works!
