I have been trying with no sucess to use my Bags Tags Boxes and More 2 cart in CCR. I can cut the shape but the lines will not line up for scoring. Does anyone know how to do this in CCR. I have found the instructions on how to use the scoring tip on the E2 but not using the craft room. I use the craft room all the time and dont even know ( or want to know ) how to use my E2 as a stand alone machine. Everything I do I do with CCR. Any help would be welcomed I am getting very angry with this and ready to throw it out the window. !!!

Place one over the other and line them up. Then send the scoring layer to the E2 (using the score blade or by dropping the blade depth down) and don't unload the mat when it's done. Then send the cutting layer to the E2 (replacing the blade first) This is what my CCR screen looks like with the two layers.

Thank you so much for your information , I will give that a try, however I am trying to make the Easter Basket and cutting it at 5 inches, the score lines just dont line up whatever I do. It is really frustrating as I love CCR but having bought a cartridge that cuts boxes it would be great to try them if only I could line up the score lines with the image.

Do you have CCR set to REAL size {the icon at the bottom of the keypad where the lower case and upper case "A" are the same size}? That makes bot the images 5 inches {or whatever size you set on the dial} instead of the two images being proportional to each other. If you use RELATIVE size {the "Aa" icon}, they should match. If you use RELATIVE size {the "Aa" icon}, they should match. This is what I was going to ask.

I found the following information somewhere and it worked for me quite well. Try the following:
. Turn your blade setting down to "2" and your pressure to "low". Load mat and select "shift" and the box you would like to cut. This will score your lines for you. After it's finished scoring, do not remove. Hit "load mat" again and it will reset to the original spot. Turn your blade back to cutting depth (I used 6) being careful not to move the blade carriage and your pressure back up (I use high). Select the box to be cut and it will then cut your lines. When it's finished you should have a box cutout as well as score lines!
I hope this has helped.

It works for all of the machines but only with the TBBM2 cart..depending on the paper that i use i may have the blade on 1 but thicker paper i use 2 as well.

Char Yes the TBBM2 has a scoring feature, you score it first, reload and then cut, is that what you didnt know?

I guess I've heard others talk about it; just didn't pay that much attention because I never thought I would need the cartridge. I do realize when you use something else in the housing you would use it first and then replace it with the blade to reload and cut again. Thanks, Maxluv. Char
